I've been vaping for a few months now and i got a RDA about a month ago and its like a hit or miss when i build coils. And i just recently switch my mod. Now have

-iTaste MVP 2.0
-Omega RDA
-TugBoat Clone (currently using)

Im using 28 gauge right now and using like 10 wrap dual coil on the little blue screw driver that came with my tug boat and it gets a hit out but not a very big cloud nor can i feel much of a hit. I am also vaping South Vapes "Ceral Killa" (90/10)

It took me a about two weeks to transition from my kanger to an RDA. I have an MVP 2 I used with the kanger. I just can't get the hits like on my mech mod with a 18650 battery.

Like I said it took me two weeks to convert to the rda and mech mod. then another two weeks to find my everyday build. I am not into clouds just want to stop smoking analogs.

My every day is 26 guage kanthol on the screw drive below.... 7 wraps. I do 8 and backoff the first... typically runs at .43-.6 ohms.

It may seem like an odd suggestion, but you might look into higher gauge wire (30) and increasing your resistance.

I got a new dual coil fogger, and at 1.6 ohms of 30 gauge (so two 3.2 ohm coils), it's putting out nice vapor at 15 watts; more than my RDA. I know the MVP is limited to 11 watts, so it's going to be hard to heat up much Kanthal.

For the fixed 11 watts, more wire will usually produce more vapor, if your battery can heat it up quickly enough.

While a great little device, the few times I held a mvp in my hands and fired it with lower resistance coils, it really seemed to take too long to get to vaporizing temp. I had the same problem with my VTR too.

While it can fire and would make some vapor with my lower resistance coils, it took it too long to get enough heat to the coil. I went to a 30 watt mod, and that solved all the problems. Even though I am only using it in the 12 to 21watt range, it just gets vapor off the coils quicker... even at 12 watts than the vtr or mvp could.

I'm not sure how you're getting it to fire at all. My mvp won't fire anything below 1.2 ohms. In any case, think of this. The max it can output is 11 watts. If you run dual coils that means you will only ever get 5.5 watts on each cool. That's not much. If you want to run that tug, build it with a single coil, use 30g wire and shoot for about 1.5 ohms.

If you really want to make it sing then get vv/vw that can output higher voltage/wattage.

try a higher guage wire and less coils. Like 24g 5 wrap that's my daily it comes out to about .3

24 gauge isnt a "higher" gauge wire and you cant fire a .3 ohm coil on an MVP v2! More surface area will create better clouds! You shouldnt give advise without either:

A) reading the op's original post
B) knowing what youre talking about....

Sorry to freak out it just seems like alot of ppl answering this post arent giving the op real life advice.
