Cloudy Juice

So I just started DIYing my juice and the flavors are good (thanks to the pioneers and cloners) but I noticed my juices were cloudy. I then started to mix my MFS PG with Nic and my MFS VG before I even put any flavors in and noticed that those two together cloud up. I have heard that clouds are bad, mmmkay : ) I am not overly concerned but was hoping for a little feedback, thanks for your time.

Hmmmm. I've heard of flavors making cloudy juice, and the advice was *Don't vape that!* You need to eliminate what is causing this. I woldn't vape that product. It might be any one of those three, your pg, vg, or nic. I know you probably hate the idea of throwing away your stuff, but your health is worth more than the price of a bottle of bad nic, right?

If you've mixed just the PG with NIC and just the VG with nic and used no flavoring and it's clouding that's not normal. Contact MFS and request them to replace them. There have been several complaints about them and the last batch of NIC I got from them about 6 months ago was overly harsh and peppery. I've since stopped using them and now buy my NIC at http://www.vaperstek.org/

One question is does it cloud up when just mixing the PG and VG and leaving out the flavor and NIC? If so then it's the PG and VG that you need to replace.

Some flavors will be cloudy no matter what & others will appear clear at first, then change color.

An example is watermelon. When made, may be clear, then turn pink as it steeps, the longer the steep, the deeper the pink.

Others may remain as clear as water, or barely noticeable. PG/VG ratio is a factor also. So far, from what I purchase, the e-juices that are 65/35 or 70/30 PG/VG will be lighter in color & remain so. Most all 50/50 blends that I've had, even if arrived fairly clear, will darken over time.

@Everyone

The op is saying that just the base with no flavoring is cloudy so lets not make him go off track by saying it's the flavoring.

@OP

If your re-using test bottles, before you re-test anything make sure you clean them well to get rid of any traces of what may have caused this in the first place.
