Cloudy or Clear ?

I recently ordered some 250 mg/ml strength salt nicotine. I've read several times that it should be stored in a dark-colored glass container, in a cool, dry place away from daylight, or in the refrigerator or freezer depending on how long it will take to use. I guess I will have this bottle for several months, but it might be gone within a year, idk.

Now that all of that is out of the way, does it look cloudy or clear to you based on the colored references around it?

Normally it starts out clear, then as it ages it goes to pale yellow, then light brown, then dark brown.

Your bottle looks pale yellow. I've never had nic stronger than 100mg, or salt nic. Don't know if things work differently with 250 salt nic. Maybe that's its normal start color.

For storage, if you have the space I would definitely go with the freezer. Degradation seems to stop completely at freezer temps. I bought most of my nic in 2015 and it's good as new. If your freezer is full the fridge would be better than room temp. Dark is better than light. Just keeping it away from light will help, but only marginally.

One more thing. People say glass is better than plastic. Your bottle looks like plastic. Can't remember why exactly, maybe oxygen can leach through plastic. Oxygen is the active agent in degradation, and it doesn't take much. It's also recommended to keep it wrapped up or in a tub or something, if it hits the floor and spills you will have a major problem. Like get out of the house quick.

This is what I've picked up from 10 years of reading advice on ECF.

What color was it when you initially received it?
The same as pictured. I received it about two weeks ago, I believe. (actually it was one week ago)
Thanks for asking

That sounds like good advice. The plastic bottle is soft white, and clear-ish.
Thanks

Some say the dead of summer is usually the worst time to order nic. It could depend on how long it takes to get to you with how hot it’s been.

It's been hot here, that's for sure. I will check the shipping and delivery date. It departed on the 17th and was delivered on the 21st. Anyone's guess where it sat during those few days, but I understand your point.
Thanks
