I got the girlfriend a new sigelei Zmax V5 and an Aerotank.
It's a great setup for her, minus one thing I can't figure out. If you tighten down the tank to what I consider "snug," it will shoot out a "Short" error, tightened a little more and it goes to "No Load." If you back it off a bit, everything works fine... But it's loose enough that it can easily loosen itself more and rattle. Which isn't acceptable to me. It's an extremely fine line between rattle-loose, and "short."
I've tried different tightness on the head, with no change. I've tried different tightness on the tank to the base, with no change.
If it was like the Evod/MT3s, I could see the positive pin on the head getting compressed and shorting... But with the Aerotanks sealed 510 setup, it's beyond me.
Anybody had this issue before?
I'm half tempted to get her a Kayfun, put a bulletproof setup in it, and be done. Ha.
