Would these be reputable? VJ was shilling them.

I think GearBest is in China.

I've ordered a number of times from GearBest. They're a lot like fasttech. Everything is authentic (unless specifically listed as "Styled" or "Clone").

Like FT...orders take 1-3 weeks to get here...and their tracking notices are often worthless.

For me (since every order has been received) I just put in the order => go back to living my life => when I find it in my mailbox...I know it's arrived...

If using the LG HG 2 will this charger work, or do I need another one?

No brand name on it, and I've had it a year or so, forget where I got it.
Input: 100-240V AC
50/60Hz
Output: DC 4.2V 1000MA

Unless your charger says something like
  • Compatible with Li-ion (26650, 22650, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500, 18350, 16340(RCR123), 14500, 10440) rechargeable batteries
  • Optimized charging design for IMR batteries
it probably won't work.

I love my Nitecore D4. (If you can get by with only 2 charging compartments...you might consider the D2.)

Right behind you...
oh, and button top or flat top? Or do we not know yet?

Button tops are a dying breed in the vaping world, about the only use for them is old, low powered legacy devices. The Cloupor needs flat tops, just like just about every other regulated mod released in the last year or so. :)

It says nothing besides what I wrote But did a great job with the Samsung batteries while I used them.

Well...Princess...I'd guess you should be OK with your charger with Li-ion/IMR batteries.

Since my home is loaded with battery sucking remotes, clocks, toys, etc. (and since AmazonBasics NiMH batteries are so inexpensive)...I've been using rechargeables for years.

    http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...asics+AA+High-Capacity+Rechargeable+Batteries

But when I started vaping and got a couple 18650's my La Crosse Technology charger would NOT charge them.

That's why I was forced to buy the Nitecore charger...(which is "backwards compatible" so it also can re-charge my NiMH's).

Bump, anyone come across a review of these yet?

I found this super creepy french video. Evidently, he doesn't speak or like Cloupor's slidey back.

Check out the hideous fingernails and the sounds of what seems to be animals and tied up people in the background.

Just in time for Halloween. Thanks for the link. It gave me a pretty good idea of what to expect. Looking forward to playing with this mod.

    Awesome.
Dude needs to put the silicone back on so he can get over the magnet door.
    Nice bicycle gloves, though!!

The LG HG 2 and the Samsumg 25R are both AWESOME batteries, with both good run time, and the kind of AMP capability you need if you're going to turn a mod up.

BUT - the thing with batteries - the minute they become popular, Chinese companies start faking them - putting their wrapper on a cheaper cell, or buying the rejected batteries, etc.

So PLEASE spend the extra dollar, and get them from a reputable battery vendor.
Here are a few that LOTS of people here on ECF will vouch for:

    RTD Vapor
    KidneyPuncher
    Illumn

I'd recommend staying away from eBay, or chinese distributors for batteries.

I think GearBest is in China.

Really weird video. Dude went pretty OCD about the battery cover. Just wow.
