Idk but I emailed last Wednesday with no response yet......

damn thats horrible. I read on the T5 forums that Cloupor replaced a guys defective t5 and got it to him in 3 days from china. Hoping they do the same thing for me.

But its looking like ill have a better chance with Ultramist when their manager gets back on Monday.

edit: I actually just got a response just now

The T8 is DC-DC PWM Control System, the simple digital voltage meter can not get accurate data,Just AVG.The power voltage of a battery drops quickly when it is set at a very high wattage when you're using it,if the battery power is enough we should be able to get the high voltage at the peak of the PWM system. But as the battery begins to get weak it cannot continuously reach the high wattage setting, because of the batteries ability itself is limited. In this situation other companies that are making high wattage mods directly cut off a mod from working you even cannot vape it,there mod screen will show low battery or check battery and this kind of situation. For safety and to keep vaping we just cut down the voltage level so you will not get into a situation that maybe very damaging to the batteries and the mod,There are 3 situationsthat will cause a battery to explode the outside or inside of the battery gets too hot are overcharged are over discharged,so we use this way to avoid over discharge of the battery which may bring terrible issues.Safety should be the first and most important consideration when using the T8.

After a couple more days I'm supremely happy with mine. Other than the screen randomly coming on it's great. I can certainly see those with complaints about the power output but I typically vape around 20watts on my Lemo with the occasional 30. That battery life at these wattage levels is awesome. I'm ordering a second in blue. I just love it.

I've become a big DNA fan lately and my Clouper dna30 (cna?) is pretty damn great imo... the only thing I don't like is the wake time (1 or 2 seconds) between breaks. I have to click it to wake whereas DNA40 just fires up at first click.
Btw i did preorder a DNA40 clone same time/place as the T8... T8 is shipped but they asked if I wanted 2 of em instead since the 40 is delayed; no way.
I do know that I have way too many regulated box mods... ordered T8 because I wanted high volts to go along with the wattage, but we'll see what it can do.
I was thinking about some SR (2 to 3 ohms) 30g wire dual coils with lots of voltage.
I doubt I'll need more than what a DNA can put out anyway but that was the one little addition that got my interest.

That was originally why I wanted the T8... Because at it's spec'd 14V I knew I'd be able to run some really good high surface area small wire gauge coils... Then I saw that they changed the specs on ship day to only 7V.

im still digging mine with no issues what so ever. It brought all my rda's back to life and tons of vapor and flavor from all of them. Battery life is great, I change them out when they get to 50% and that take 2-3 days to get to that. Its not my all day mod, I take my cana everywhere cause its compact.

Wow so I might have pushed the seal inside the cover in a little bit to were one side ripped but not fully. I might get denied warranty for that reason and i didn't even rip it fully! To be fair, I didn't know it was a seal with I pushed it accidentally. I thought it was just a sticker.
