So for 2 or so months, i had gotten bored of my vape game cause I couldnt find juice I liked and my regulars got boring to me. Thus causing me to have no motivation to rebuild my kayfun. Also my GP paps v3 mech mod was gving me trouble adding less motivation.

Vape Summit was in town and since it was close to my condo, i decided to go. Im so glad I did. Not only did i get a years worth of preimum juices for free, but I also got my girlfriend and I Cloupor T8's from ultramist's booth for $120 each and came with a pair of VTC4s.. not bad,

IM in love with this box mod. Soo much better then dealing with a mech mod.

Here's some info from other sites:

ok so at 80w its reading 3.25v on meter (T8 reading 4.3) [.23 ohm ] so thats 5 raps 2mil 24g micro
100w 3.26 volts
150w same 3.26
NEW BUILD------
Put a dff atty and its reading 4.3v at .3ohms
mmmmm 61 watts box showing 70watts
100watts----4.55v
150watts ----4.55v
mmmmmmmmm
looks like a 65-70watt box mod,thats sad
let someone else test it,but that looks right-give or take

Just a thought:
They maybe were trying to make a 150w chip and have a 14v output - but it may have been a fail
This must be (my thoughts only) the T5 50 watt chip with the upgrade to 75watts (but its working and not blowing up the chip like 16th sept)

The published spec says it has a 7.4V and 20A limit on its output. You'd actually need about 32A to get 150W at the minimum resistance of 0.15Ω.

With a 7.4V and 20A limit you should be able to get full power at about 0.365Ω. Any higher resistance and you run into the voltage limit, any lower resistance you run into the current limit.

At 0.3Ω you should be able to get 20A @ 6V and get 120W. If you are only getting 4.55V, it sounds like it may be limiting the current to 15A instead of 20A. That is not meeting the published spec, however weak it is.

Man, these guys are really playing a game with these specs. They are totally ruining their reputation, worse than it already is. I was considering this device instead of the both the Sigelei 100W and P4Y 150W. With those, at least I know they meet their published specs, again however weak they are. But the specs on this look like just straight out lies.

Same here. played with about 5 builds. They're claiming 7.6 volts output with 150w and a 20 amp limit.

Current build, .38ohm 22ga single horizontal, just trying to get close to the 7.6 volts. At 7.6 volts and .385 ohms, that's 150.02w and 19.74 amps. SHOULD all check for what they're claiming.

Anyways, .38 ohm build with T8 set to 150w, output voltage on the mod screen claims 7.5-7.6 but the actual voltage output is 5.05. Of all my builds I've tried, that's the highest voltage I've been able to achieve. .38 ohm at 5.05 volts is 67w at 13 amps.

Very disappointed in this mod. Don't get me wrong, it's nice in the hand, looks good, and was well packaged. They just missed the most important part, the mod doesn't work as claimed.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
If anyone bought this mod expecting it to meet actual specs than i feel for them but there was tons of info from early buyers of it saying that it clearly did not meet the advertised specs .

Lots of comments that i see now say they do not vape above 50 watts anyway so therefor they are happy with it , thats good for them but some no doubt will be disappointed. Until (Bill 3753) posted i did not see complaints by anybody and most said they are very happy so why would you return it .

If it meets your needs than keep it , don't just return it because it falls short of what it claims .

Exactly.... Unless your cloud chasing, or a spec junkie, I would just blow the haters off.. It's your mod, and if you like it, and it meets your needs, keep it.

Enough said.

I'm entertaining buying the T8. I have some reward points with a particular vendor and can get one to my door for $72 with a 6 month vendor warranty. My intended usage would be to run RTAs at <30W (my Sig 100 is my dedicated high power dripper box). My IPV2 is likely going in for warranty service and the T8 would be its long term replacement. The IPV2 would likely be sold upon its return. Kind of hard to go wrong for $72 in this case, I guess.

I 100% understand what y'all are saying. My post was mostly to inform others of real world experience. I bought the T8 as a replacement/upgrade for subohm mechanical mods and the lack of being able to meet the advertised specs make this device unable to meet those needs. I drip in a RDA and that's it. I don't vape any other way. Is this the norm, no. However if someone else like me wants this mod for the same reason I did, high wattage RDA dripping, I want them to know they'll be disappointed and that it WILL NOT match up to a mechanical mods.

Just got my T8 and yes, it doesn't seem to meet the preorder or shipped specs.... At least with my multimeter it maxes out at about 6v. Wether or not that's accurate or the PWM is throwing it off I personally don't know. But with that said I'm a dripper and mech guy and no it won't fire not put out clouds like my unregulated parallel box that currently has a .08 ohm quad build but it has it's place. It actually does shine with the .45 ohm build I've got on it now. Really peeved with the last minute spec changes and what appears to be lacking ship specs but not a terrible box if you can get past the poor business practices of cloupor and other like minded manufactures for that matter.

Yeh I am another one... probably does not reach the 150 watts but that's not my vape. I wanted a nice looking box mod with great battery life for my kayfuns and new lemo. Meets my needs

Exactly the same here. I had decided not to order it because of the spec changes but in the end I know I will never use them. I also am going to be using a Lemo and battery life/looks were my main motivator in a new box mod. I got out of mechanicals and have all these nice batts with nothing to put them in, this will cure that ill. Ordered it last night in silver and hopefully with ship out tomorrow. elev8 said they were in stock so we shall see.

Sounds like it will work just right for you along with a lemo. Lemo requires more power than a kayfun and wicks without issues at a higher wattage than a kayfun.
