I don't have the T8 but I got the T6 and it doesn't seem to be putting out to its advertised specs either. So to me its like paying for a Corvette and getting the performance of a Malibu. Would you say well the Malibu performance gets me from point A to point B so I guess I can live with it?

Well that's disappointing as I picked up 2 at the vape summit. I mean I'm loving it so far as I'm a kayfun guy that vaped .8-9ohm coils at 20-25 watts. I use my quasar occasionally but not at crazy low ohm where id need 100w+.

Still, kinda sucks knowing that you paid for a device that isn't living up to its spec. Other then that it's still a solid mod.

I understand what your saying and agree with you. That being said I was only looking for a mod that could do 25 watts. Sure there are other mods I could have bought that do 25 watts I looked at most of them and chose the cloupor line because I liked the look and feel of them. No scope but the t8 seems to put out more power than the t6.

But we aren't paying corvette prices here. We are paying v6 mustang prices. Looks good decent power but isn't gonna go 150mph even tho the speedo goes that high. I would understand there being a huge complaint if we were paying higher end apv prices but we are spending clone prices.

Well these are not clone devices these are devices that were designed and created by Cloupor. Their number one selling point was that these were to be able to reach a wattage of 150 watts T8 or 100 watts T6. They touted it everywhere they could. Needless to say I do feel kind of ripped off. Had it been an item I had bought locally it would have been returned in a day, I contacted them numerous times finally got a reply after a week and they basically just told me I was wrong because my meter wouldn't read pulse width modulation but I can tell by the feel that it doesn't provide the stated wattage.

The build quality of the enclosure itself is wonderful though its either the chip or the programming that is bad.

I completely agree, if I was sold an 80w mod and the display represented actual wattage, I wouldn't be upset. But this box doesn't even do 100w, at least not compared to the gi2 or Sigelei 100 both of which trump the output here. I hope it's just a programming issue, but if I can get access to a scope I'll prove them wrong cause 150w..... This ain't it.

Maybe visiting this thread was a bad idea. I was completely happy with my T8 but now that I know I can't go over 80w effectively kind bothers me now :(. I should have maybe done my research going into vapesummit but then again I didn't have any intentions on the T8.

I originally was gonna get my girl the t8/sigielli and me a ipv3 but the only booth I found the ipv3 had sold out n I didn't want to leave vapesummit empty handed lol.

Thats the thing , your paying for a 150 watt device and getting considerably lower , if i had bought an 80 watt device you would be happy but they priced this as a 150 watt capable device , thats what's annoying.

Bottom line is a device thats advertised to do something MUST be able to do it , there is no excuse for this , it's basically fraud.

If this was argued in court against Cloupor you would win every time representing yourself.

I do have the Cloupor DNA 30 watt box,its got its own zip code, you can set it down for about 5 or 10 minutes without touching it and the LED screen will just come on for no reason, also No "LOW BATTERY" message you just have to go by what is on the screen...I do not have the T5 or T6,so i can only go by what i read those two missed the mark, and now the T8.The 150 watt box mod from what i have read is coming up a little short,i personally don't vape anywhere near that range so the T8 is meeting "My"vaping needs just fine.I do feel for the others that the T8 is not performing as advertised please correct me if I'm wrong.

And just another let down via cloupor. I really wanted the T6, I saw that was a flop. Come into this thread, and what do ya know just another device not doing what it claimed to do by the same company.. What a shock.

I really wanted that one as well but never pulled the trigger because of all the feedback . Really sweet looking box , would love to pop a Yi Hi or Evolve chip in that one.

Yeah, its sucks. I think the T6 still has a place since it probably performs as good as an IPV2 but with a 26650 and almost the same price.

Just returned back home I went to the local BM store,i got to check out one of the employees God Mod 180 watt box.It was black.I personally don't need that much power but I can tell you that it does operate as advertised I saw it with my own eyes, the only thing he said that he did not like about it was it has the two screws on the back vs magnets, but yes it will get the job done,i don't need anything really what that much true power I will probably go ahead and pre-order one just to say that I do own one!

No need to pre-order. Bunches of places have them in stock.

edit: well, maybe not bunches of places but madvapes has them in stock and Fasttech added them today.
