Clueless as where to start

Im sure there are plenty of these threads, but I am new to the whole vapor thing. Ive been reading all day and have decided I want to go with the VK. As I saw nothing but good things about it.

Now when browsing there site, I have no idea which package I should grab. All 3 seem the exact same. Then comes flavors. Argh. I just want to buy it already and have it headed my way so I can toss these smokes out the window!

Please help. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. I really hope to become apart of the V4L clique =D

There are basically two types of batts: autos, which are powered when you inhale through them, and manuals, which have a button you depress when you inhale. The kits are similar, with the addition of a PCC (portable charging case) in the Ultimate Ultimatum Kits. You will appreciate the PCC, so I would suggest going with the Ultimate Ultimatum kit. As for auto vs. manual, that is merely a personal preference. I didn't think I would care for the manuals too much, but I actually prefer them over the autos.
As for flavors, again, that is personal preference. I smoked Menthols, and I really can't stand the taste of tobacco, so I actually enjoy and prefer their non-tobacco flavors. My suggestion is to place your order, and get a few packs of carts and see how you like it. After that, you will probably be in the same boat that most of the rest of us are - you'll want to order again and again! lol

Alot of people get the ultimate ultimatum,it has everything.If your budget isnt up to it maybe you could get the pcc kit,I dont know if it comes with 2 batts or not, but you need 2.cappucino seems to be very popular,coffee and chocolate are good too.My favorite is peach cobbler.

Welcome Skoad! Congratulations on making a decision! I started with the ultimate ultimatum also - it's a great kit! You didn't state what you are smoking now? do you want to go with a tobacco flavor? or give up that taste completely?

Far be it from me to be contrary, but knowing what I know now, I wish I'd started with two extra large manual batteries, a charger, and a manual passthrough. I have all the other stuff but what I've just listed is all I ever actually use. A person could probably get by with just one XL manual at first, as long as there was a passthrough to use while it charged.

I suspect that there will be a similar kit one day when cases are available for the Super Duper Beastly Batteries.

I don't think you are being contrary AZAndy! Skoad needs a lot of input. I liked the kit to begin because of the pcc and chargers. It just seemed easier as my mind was spinning with all the choices. My personal preference right now (always subject to change!) is the 10 second cutoff batt.

I ordered the 70$ kit with the case and batts ect... I also order a PCC case a few other bats and odds and ends. I havent recieved it yet but im impatiently waiting ^^

Azandy,your probably right about the 2 xtra long batts.Im down to 1 right now,but 2 gets me through the day and is all I need.

Everything everyone said tho is really helpful. Gave me all the answers I was looking for.

I smoke Marb Menthol's, so I will just grab a couple different flavors, and get different kinds each time until I find what I like.

Going to order the Ultimate Ultimatum. So many good looking flavors tho, this is gunna be a toughly.

I started very small because I wanted to be sure it was the right answer for me without spending much money. I went with Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King Mini Kit with USB Passthrough an extra box of cartos and two small bottles of juice. I'm at my computer alot so this is worked out great for me but the limitation is I have no portable option. I think if I were to do it again I would have gone for one of those extra long batteries with a inexpensive charger, couple boxes of cartos and some juice.

The best bargain is of course Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King Ultimate Starter Kit and I'd still recommend an extra box of cartos and some refill juices.

You just need to find what is best for your needs and budget!

I am a new user as well been a month on V4L. From my point I think that you should try a little of everything since you won't know which you prefer. Most seem to like the manual but I personally prefer the autos. so if you get a manual package get an auto bat as well so you ca see which you prefer. As for flavors all will tell you it is a personal thing which is true being a menthol smoker for 40+ years I thought I would like the menthol tobacco flavors but I actually prefer the non tobacco flavors except for the mint I do like the mint.
so ask Steve (owner of V4L) when you place an order about flavors and strengths because at least for me I once I found the flavor The strength choice came next I started low but ended using the higher strengths. At first it will be a struggle to find what you like and don't like but keep all cart's as your taste will change. Steve threw in some cappuccino flavor and at first I did not like it but three weeks later it became one of my favorites. It is a leap of faith but take the step I think you will enjoy the experience as the rest have.

Definitely the Ult Ult kit!! You can start with one of the mini kits, but you will eventually getting everything in the Ult Ult kit anyway. I smoked menthols for about 35 years & I found that I did not like the reg tobacco flavors (xcept 555, kinda like buttered popcorn). I do, however, enjoy the menthol & mint. Everyone's tastes are different but I am with Jen on the coffee and cappucinno - the black and green tea carts are also very good. Congratulations on your decision to go with the VK from V4L! You will not be sorry!

I'd agree with that suggestion. If you didn't, at the end of the first week, you'll be freaking out while waiting for the next order to arrive. So plan ahead and get the extra boxes and refill juices in your first order.

I've been vaping a little over a month. I started out with an auto battery, 2 boxes of carts and a charger.

Also grabbed a 5mL Strawberry juice (didnt even know I really needed juice, so dont think the 5mL will last, going to order another 5mL today)

Picked up 1 more pack of cartos too. Picked the Watermelon. Also gunna go ahead and order another pack just to be safe. Took me 30minutes just to pick the flavors I already did. Think I will grab some of the things people in here mentioned.

Now to find out where the juice comes in.
