Which do you guys like? I watch both but have found that each one as their own problems. Fox news is usually too right wing and opinionated with stupid hosts like Glenn Beck and O' Reilly who often times show how ignorant they are about a lot of things... while CNN seems anti-American and anti-White a lot of the times but seems to cover stories in a more balanced way than Fox news...

I have yet to find a news source that I like and feel is being fair and balanced and informative 100% of the time. Seems they all have their own slant on things, and with some it's glaringly obvious.

That being said, I did have to give kudos to the local Fox news station last night when they were covering story about possible toll road fee hike. They mentioned that when the very first toll road in oklahoma went up something like 50 years ago, the citizens were promised by legislators that it would become a free road once it was paid for. Theyre the only local news source that i know of that has mentioned it.

CNN is so biased toward the liberal perspective it is almost comical. And they are definitely anti-American. But then isn't everyone anti-American.

Right. Which is why Glenn Beck was, until recently, on their payroll.

Seriously, if you think CNN is liberal biased, you don't know what liberal is. Watch Democracy Now! and see what REAL liberal bias is all about. CNN is friggin' C-SPAN in comparison.

I don't disagree that there are much worse.

I listen to CNN for background noise. They are reasonably harmless. FOX is simply too irritating.

I've as yet to find a news outlet that retains news-gathering personnel. Some here that are older may remember they had silly little titles such as reporter.

Most all the programs that have 'News' in their title these days seem no more than talent shows and infomercials.

Can't speak to the other countries in the world, but what the US has to offer for news agencies is just another example of the dumbing down of America.

I remember it well. As I've said before, my dad was on the editorial board of a major metro daily for many years. He was a reporter his whole life. Reporting in America is a thing of the past, for the most part. Once news divisions were required to make a profit, it was all over. News is entertainment now. Why waste money on a Moscow bureau when running Michael Jackson on an endless loop brings in more eyes to watch the soap ads between segments?

That's why this chatter about which of the cable nets is better is just hot air. They all suck. They're not biased right or left. They're biased corporate.

They both suck. I like Drew Curtis' FARK.com because they deliver the same news with what is basically a "who can come up with the funniest headline for this" contest on every story.

Another farker! Cool stuff, but I've begun to shy away from the politics section, because it's pretty much devolved to if you're a "......ican" then you're crucified by like 200 people and it's a little more than annoying. If you're even an independant (as am I) they accuse you of being a closeted republican, and it's freakin getting old already

Otherwise that site is awesome, It's been my homepage for eight years running now.

Back OT, I enjoy Fox News. The only reason they have so many right-wing commentators (And that's all they are, they appear to give their opinion. When they report news they actually ARE pretty balanced, in that no other station will even offer a republican stance or view on anything.)

You've secretly been enjoying my winning photoshop contest entries for a very long time. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Everyone may or may not be interested, but guess what I saw on Fox Network early this morning, about 4 times???
A REAL, E-CIG commercial, was for the Vaporette, not the best according to our posts here, but a START! Now, what'dya think of FOX
This is the first I've seen, may you all have seen others. By golly, they're getting some air time anyway, nice going Fox.
A problem I see though, they are advertising them as stop smoking devices, not too good as I see it, so this may be something we can get ECA to help out on?
Later will see if they have any info, can't do it right now.
