Anyone know the size of the wick hole and length of wick to top of positive post screw connection? I want to order some stainless steel rope wick and it would help to know the width and length so I can order the wicks prior. Hopefully when the Cobra comes in from eBay the wick will be arriving near the same time. My diameter choices (lightning vapes) are 2, 2.5 or 3mm, and the length choices are 1" through 3" with .25, .50. and .75 increments. I would like to order best possible match for this VP12. I pretty much decided I will already go with 400 mesh. I like the thinner juice and I read that would work best with the 400.

Thanks,
Charlie

It arrived today. First impression I am very impressed. Anyone interested it appears to be a 1mm wick hole, maybe 1.5mm. I will probably get a few sizes of the rope just in case I am wrong. I think 2mm was the thinnest at Lightning Vapes, so I will have to try that first. And to my surprise, this unit is already setup. That's good for me because I don't have my materials yet to rebuild. It comes with a spare wick and wire so I should be okay for a good bit without needing to rebuild. Again, first impression I am impressed with this unit. The wire setup looks to be a 34 guage with 3 wraps. It checks in at slightly above 2 ohm. I hope it vapes as good as it looks! A few pics for you....

The vent hole is 1/32. Like most units, too tight for good air flow. I opened it up to 3/64 with my Dremel. It doesn't line up exactly with the wick when the cap is screwed down, but close enough. Air flow is much better now drilled to 3/64. Still going through wick break-in, and the taste is getting better. I hit the top of the wick with a few drops periodically while it is breaking in. Hopefully it won't take too long. For something under $15 bucks, I'm giving this a big thumbs up.
