I seem to be having a tough time finding a really good coffee flavored juice. This juice has some nice reviews but I am not certain what VG/PG ratio other reviewers were using. Here are my thoughts on this juice in the 100% VG version.

Coffee VG 6mg - Copper Creek
From the Copper Creek website:
Our unique slightly sweetened blend.

Puffing this on my eGo-C 3.5v with a SR 2.4 ohm atty. Vapor production is fair but I would consider it a bit on the low side for an all VG juice.

Throat hit is a bit too harsh for me. I am kinda surprised that the TH is harsh at only 6mg nic level but it leaves a scratchy after effect that is unpleasant. I have tried other juices that actually have a bigger throat hit but do not leave the scratchiness in my throat.

The flavor on this juice is not horrible and it does have some nice coffee tones. Let me preface a bit by noting I really enjoy a good cup of coffee. I buy fresh coffee beans and grind the beans before I make the coffee. I also never make more than my wife and I can drink in an hour or so as coffee sitting around for a while takes on a bad burned flavor. Fresh ground and fresh brewed coffee is my preference.

With that said Coffee from Copper Creek has some tones of the burnt flavor of coffee that has been sitting for a bit. I let this steep for just over two weeks and the flavor has gotten better but still has notes of tire fire. It has some undertones of sugar or sweetener that are trying to shine through but I am not getting the Coffee experience that I want. Maybe a higher PG ratio is better?

I am not going to give this juice a thumbs up but I am also not going to give it a thumbs down. There was a note on the Copper Creek invoice that said this juice is best steeped and to shake the bottle well so I am going to let it sit for another couple weeks and then revisit. I will report back when I try it again.

V = 6
T = 5
F = 5

While the fact that I am a fan of Copper Creek brought me here, I must say that I wouldn't comment except for one thing. You are using an awfully high resistance atomizer for such a low voltage PV. That would certainly throw any juice off from every aspect, including vapor production which is limited at best due to the resistance. I would highly recommend revisiting it at different (higher) voltages if you're going to use that atomizer... I would suggest somewhere between 4.2 and 4.7 to suit your taste... Or at the very least snag a LR atomizer (2.0 ohm max) to use on that device.

SummerDawn - Thanks for the feedback! :)

I do have some of the new LR 1.8 ohm attys for the eGo-c on the way (stalking the mailbox tomorrow) and look forward to trying this juice and others with a bit more heat. You being a fan of Copper Creek - have you tried Coffee? What was your PG/VG ratio? What device voltage/ohms do you use for this and other darker, thick juices?

My wife and I love House Blend btw. It's her fave so far. :wub:
