coil and duel coil ohm please help

New to all this.just ordered a mod and 18650 battery 30 amp.
I need to know what single coil to use as safe with ohm reading for protank 2.
And I have a duel coil tank That I need the same info on.
I dont want to blow my face off or mess up a new battery.
Thanks in advance.making my owne coils.allso wire size kenthal.I want the most vapor

It would be very dangerous to wind your own coils without a accurate digital multimeter to test your creation. It is too easy to blow up your mod/face without one . You will get exactly what you pay for with test equipment. I personally would not spend less than 100 USD on a meter. There are single purpose meters for less.
With the pro tank2 you will be limited by the amount of juice delivered to the coil as to the ohm reading, number of coils. if it is burning juice the resistance is too low. You will learn with experience.
Dual coil tank, see the above. Test every coil you build for resistance and shorts at various points and before you screw on the atomizer.
As for wire sizes , different gauges will dictate more or less coils for any given resistance. You can fiddle with these to custom tune your vape.( Fun part!)
Have fun & try not to get too frustrated. It takes practice.

My coil now is 1.8ohm in the protank ive read that I can go down to 0.5 but I would only want to go to 1.0 ohm if that is safe.I chain vape at times.want to know the safest ohm I can go down to and stay above that.thanks for the respond.

I don't use a mech mod so I don't have a good answer for you but............a Protank is designed to work with a 1.8 resistance coil at the lowest point. I wouldn't venture too far below that personally just due to safety concerns.

You can bolt the transmission of a V6 Ford Mustang to a V8 big block Thunderbird but you will rip the transmission out.......it's just a question of when.

I know that isn't the answer you are looking for but if you want to use your 30a mech, you may want to look at other toppers and do a lot more reading/watching videos

anything below 1.0 ohm is considered in the sub ohm territory... which is where you can blow your face off if your not careful. its really all about experimenting with what gauge kanthal and how many wraps you do that gauges what your ohms are gonna read. its just good practice to get an ohm reader so you can figure it out, look on the forum or google, answers are everywhere.

Ok here is my set up i ordered.stainless steel mec. Mod.
Lg 18650-3.6 volt 30 amp drain battery
32 gauge a1 kenthal
Singel or duel coil atomizer-tank top coils with wicks-cotton going into the ejuce
Is 1.1 ohm good for this?allso how can i get 1.1 ohm from 2 coils?I just can not figure that out.

(2) 4 ohm coils wired in parallel = 2 ohms resistance at the battery. 1.1 ohm = (2) 2.2 ohm coils in the same configuration.
Should be a nice warm vape.
