I've been using the Kanger Protank/EVOD coils that come in a blister pack of 5. Is there a benefit to keeping them in the blister packs? If I could take them out, it would save some room storage-wise. Do the wicks have some sort of primer that would dry out?

never noticed a primer.. but i keep them in the packs to make sure they are clean... if you take them out they will collect dust or pet hair that floats around in the air. you could take them out and put them in a zip lock bag.
Interesting question. I use T2s. When I buy replacement coils, one of the vendors ships them in boxes with blister packs. Another vendor sends them loose in a zip lock baggy. I always worried that the loose ones were not genuine...how would I know. Anyway, don't see why you couldn't store them in a plastic baggy thingy.
I put just about everything in plastic zip lock bags, coils, cleaned tanks, q-tips etc. It makes everything easier to find, organize and keep clean. I have bags in assorted sizes, 2x3, 3x4, 4x6. You can get hundreds of them for about $3-8.

I keep all my extra parts and cleaning supplies in a cigar box, just for the purpose of keeping them clean and away from dust/pet hair. And so I know where everything is!
