Coil Building Success!

I just got my atomizer, wick, and coil and I tried to build my first coil and it was successful at first try.
It came out to .80 ohms.

I think it's alright for my first coil, isn't it?

Good job! It's really not as hard as some make it out to be, and if you are so inclined it is extremely fun. On my first try i ended popping one of my coils and had to start that one over. Doc Dave Dual was my building cherry popper. I haven't looked back since though. I love it. Congrats on your positive experince. Vape on friend!

yeah. already had another thread and people kindly explained to me the battery safety.
i got a mnke imr 18650 with 25A limit and my coil is currently using only around 5A so im safe.

Like others have said, the batteries you use is important. Do you know what the maximum current draw is on the ones you're using?

its better to look on youtube than to read on it so that you can actually see how its going on.
there are different ways to build coils but i personally used the method where you wrap the coil around the wick and then screw it in the posts.

2.1 ohms is usually around where I end up. I have random times I get 3.3 up to 4.0 even, can anyone explain possibly why I can't get lower? I made a 1.1 once upon a time
