How long have you been using that coil?

I have been using it for about 14 days, with the last 10 with the exact same liquid so it's not like I went up in nicotine or switched flavours. I still have decent vape but the taste is horrible and my ohm's on the coil still read 1.8. It burns all the way down and I drink about 500ml of water an hour.

Two weeks without a clean is pretty good really. Most coils you can rinse under hot water, soak in pure grain alcohol (like vodka or everclear) or do a dry burn to clean them (some coils cannot be dry-burned because you will burn the filler or wicks) - or any combination of the above. You tube has thousands of videos about coil cleaning and general maintenance just type in your clearo name and search.

When I used clearos I found a quick hot water rinse every 2-4 refills and a dry burn every week kept them working very well. I could get more than a month out of most heads and even 6-7 weeks sometimes.

If you can't be bothered cleaning them, just pop in a new coil and away you go again.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea I was able to do that to extend the length of the coil via some cleaning. I have the nautilus mini so off to youtube I go!

I cleaned mine last night in water and then vodka and it seems alot better today but there is still a tad of throat burn and my device is reading 2.0 ohm instead of 1.8 ohm. Still it's alot better but for $3, I think I am just gonna throw this coil out and clean it every 2-3 days and see if that works better as the taste is pretty muted now as well.
