I have them and love them. I only have two minor complaints:

1. The different rods aren't labeled with their size. Easily corrected with a label maker, but annoying nonetheless.
2. Each rod comes with a corresponding top cap and I find these easily get separated in my current coil making toolbox.

Beyond these two minor annoyances, everything else about the Coil Master is pretty great. Definitely worth the money, IMO.

Love coilers. I have the kuro in 3mm might get the other 2 if I feel like playing with tiny coils. Start with a half wrap and wind it's that easy. Almost perfect coils every time. Just a little tweak with the ceramic tweezers wick and go. I've got an assortment of coils built for everything I own now bagged and labeled.

So I apologize if this is a bit off-topic, but I've been thinking about starting to rebuild coils as they are easily becoming the most expensive part of my vaping habit. I'm not going to take up everyone's time because I have zero knowledge on the subject, but I know there is a wealth of information in these forums, so if someone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I'm assuming I can build/rebuild coils for tanks and clearos I already have?

Just got my Coil Master this afternoon. I'm not really big on gadgets. I'm pretty 'old school', but this thing caught my eye, and it's pretty cheap, so I figured what the heck. Pretty cool little device. It only took a couple tries to get used to the pressure, so as not to overlap the coils. I'm impressed.

Lefty, for what topper are you making them? TONS of videos out there. I rebuild for my Kanger ProTanks, kayfuns, Atomic RDA, and now the Kanger OCC heads for my Nanos. Key is to get an ohmmeter to test the coils BEFORE you fire them :)

Check out Steam Engine | free vaping calculators to get guidelines on wire sizes, number of wraps. However, NOTHING beats testing the resistance FIRST.

I thought it was crap personally. Now the Kuro or the clones of the Kuro are a diffrent story. YMMV and you may find the master amazing but to me it was to finicky, if you pushed down even the tiniest bit it would make the coil wrap over it self if you know what I mean. SuperXDrifter has a good review of it on youtube. If you really want a coil tool of some sort I would suggest the artistic coil gizmo or the kuro. I take the kuro out and about and have the artistic coil gizmo at home. It is easily the best thing on the market for wrapping micro contact coils anyone who used one will tell you. There cheap on amazon and I would reccomend anyone who builds buy one. What it does so amazingly is put a lot of tension on the coil as your wrapping it so they come out so extremely tight, perfect and uniform. If they were any tighter the wire would break which is exactly what you want. I really hope you like the coil master I just didnt. If you dont please look at the artistic coil gizmo or a Kuro or Kuro Clone. All three of those devices will out perform the master IMHO.

I'd pick the Artistic Wire Coil Gizmo

Them little hand held things make pretty coils, but not tensioned. I still see people who use them, they have to torch the coils or squeeze them to get them to perform right. I don't have to do that with the coil gizmo in the picture. Squeezing coils is a thing of the past. Them hand held things just seem like gimmicks honestly.

Plus what you see in the picture is still cheaper than the coil master and such. I spent $13 total on everything in the picture. $7.19 on the wire gizmo with the 40% coupon they have online from hobby lobby when I went to the store.
