I've been wrapping coils for a few weeks now and I did a parallel, single coil on my new Magma. I used 28, wrapped nine times and came out with a .7 build.
Surprisingly my Vamo fires it (ohm meter could be off a hair) but at the full 20 watts, naturally, it's underpowered. There's not any real lag, making baby clouds, but not setting the world on fire.
My question is, will a mech mod make the coil warmer/faster than my regulated 20 watts? Will I get more power and efficiency out of a regulated mod that can produce higher wattage? (If this is in the wrong forum, please move my post.) I guess what I'm after is a better way to heat a coil that has a large surface area, and 20 watts doesn't cut it. I have batteries already, I'm just wondering if putting them in an unregulated copper tube is going to produces better results, or should I be thinking in terms of more, controlled wattage? What's your preferred way to heat duel or parallel builds?
