I hate myself. Im never pleased with my builds. They work extremely well for my needs but i love making new coils and testing them out haha. I decided to wrap this coil on a big paperclip instead of what i usually wrap it on. I then put some cotton under the coil and then put some juice and fired it. It lit up faster and produced a bit for flavor. Is there a term for these coils? I know theres micro but is there anything smaller than that?. I used to wrap it on a toothpick and that worked great but i feel this one works a bit better. Thanks in advance :vapor:

Yes, that's a nano coil. The cotton is tucked underneath the coil because it is too small to feed the cotton through the coil.

This is where one wraps kanthal around kanthal tightly right? I am interested in this set up. What is your opinion on it? I heard that wrapping kanthal over kanthal is potentially more hazardous? I have seen that super nano coil video and its impressive.

Kanthal over kanthal is the super nano I believe. The nano is usually done over a small diameter screwdriver or drill bit. I have yet to build either one, so I really can't give you an opinion on one. I typically just do a micro coil with 28g kanthal and wrap it around a 5/64 drill bit. I have one in my kayfun that's sitting at 1.4 ohms and a vertical dual micro in my Igo w3 that's at .7 ohms. For me both produce vapor and flavor that I'm satisfied with.

I've tried micro, mini and nano coils, as well as dual nano coils. They all have their plus points. The mini coils, 2mm diameter tend to last longer and are easier to get the cotton through. The nano coils, less than 1mm diameter, I wrap around the smallest diameter syringe needle I've got. I can actually just about get cotton through them, but it does take a while. The flavour and vapour production is a lot better than micro or minis, but the throat hit is a bit harsher, plus the cotton needs changing more often. Really it's just a case of what works best for you. If you want a quick and easy coil that will last for weeks, go for a micro or mini, if you want that extra bit of flavour and vapour and don't mind spending twice as long building the coil go for the nano. I've also tried vertical nanos, dragon nanos, plus others, they all vape really well. The next one I'm gonna try is Rip's Tricro coil :D
