Coils (Atomizer Heads) get burned every day. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not new for vaping - just did not post much.
Started to vape about two years ago. Eventually Have chosen Innokin Itaste MVP, iClear 30 tank and coils.
Everything was fine - a single coil lasted about a week, until my original MVP battery died. Purchased two MVP 2.0 batteries, Eleaf Istick 16 and 30 batteries.
In addition to iCler 30, purchased Kanger Aerotank V2 and corresponding coils, Eleaf G S Air MS tank and coils.
My problem - I cannot get any coil to work for a longer then a day. In any combination of battery/tank/coil!
The resistance goes up very fast and after a few hours of vaping a coil dies.
Considering a fact that an average coil cost is about $2, my hobby became a very expensive one - and I'm currently back to disposables e-cigs - It is about $4 per cig - but no hassle dealing with liquids, coils, etc.
What am I doing wrong?
Any advice?
Thanks.

I cold be few factors:
- too power that the coils cannot handle it, however the mods you described seem pretty a good match for the tanks you got;
- bad coils, non original sold as original;
- too high VG Juice - anything above 70% (60% maybe) VG I would say
- defective mods, highly unlikely if it happens consistently on all 3 mods.

This is the most frustrating thing about using factory made coils for tanks. Beyond the hit or miss quality control of premade coils, you have to be aware of the pg/vg ratios of your e-liquid (higher vg clogs coils) and the coloring of your e-liquids (darker and sweeter flavors tend to clog coils faster).

After two years vaping, I made the decision to switch to juice attachments which use home made coils - rebuildable tank atomizers (RTA) and rebuildable drip atomizers (RDA). My coils now last for months at a time. I simply dry burn the coils with each wick change, about every 3 - 4 days. I've been doing this for over a year, and couldn't be happier.

Information Resources for Your First RBA

My advice, if you chose to continue to use pre-built coils, is to watch all the You Tube videos for each tank you have, and see if they have any advice on how you can get longer life from your coils.

Several factors play into this, I'm leaning toward your recent hardware changes but here is the list

1) Proper priming of a coil. Be sure to either pre-soak a coil in the juice you will be using, especially thicker juices (40pg/60vg or thicker), or drop liquid into the coil head, install in your tank, let set for a few before firing it at the lowest setting, and gradually over an hour time crank up the wattage to your normal vaping setting.
2) Heat, with several other below variables, higher the heat without proper cooling (good airflow), coil gets to hot it burns and crystalizes the wicking as well as sweeteners and other things in the liquid
3) Deserts, savory flavors (bakery, custard, creams, milky, yogurts), tobaccos with vanilla and caramels (RY4 types or sweet tobacco types), capucino and creamy coffees, these have sweeteners and other things that do not vaporize well or crystalize and carbonize when heated and clog things up, clogged wicking, equals burning see #1 and #2, sweeter the liquid, faster the clogging
4) Dark liquids, or liquids with any colorings, these colorings do not vaporize, they carbonize and crystalize see 1, 2, and 3 above, lighter and clearer liquids do not gunk up as quickly
5) Tobaccos, especially Whole Tobacco Alkaloids (WTA) and Naturally Extracted Tobaccos (NET), as well as many RY4 and sweet tobaccos, these are notorious for clogging coils up due to 2, 3, and 4 above
6) Coffees, any coffee suffers from #4 above, some even #3 being sweet, and will gunk up quickly
7) Thicker the liquid, more VG, takes longer to wick, not efficient enough wicking you get problems and #1 and #2 above, also VG can be sweet so suffers from #3 above as well.

Also, it's a bit of a side note but.. Is anyone bothered by the nicotine listings on that epuffer.com site?

Like, I know what they mean when they say 1.2mg (they mean 12mg) but it's incredibly inaccurate, and could confuse someone. They mean 6mg, not .6mg. They could write ".6%" or "1.2%" and that'd make sense, but.. 1.2mg and .6mg is very falsely mislabeled, and the difference between .6mg and 6mg is massive.

I'm suspecting a probability of counterfeit coils, since I was using very clear Tobacco flavored liquids diluted by absolutely clear Menthol liquid.
When shop online - everyone tries to get things cheaper.
I think even the authentic coil/atomizers are a crap shoot! I finally bought a tank with RBA and haven’t had to fiddle with it nearly as much, In two weeks I have rewicked twice (for better flavor) and still running the same coil, 3-5 ml a day. Even if you don't want to make coils, you can buy premade ones real cheap, two screws, a wick and ba da da bing!

Can I be honest?

All those tanks you mention are old tech and were not exactly reliable years ago. Pair them with up-to-date mods with higher power and... well.. there's really only one outcome.

I use factory coils (and make my own for RBA, RDA) and have no bother at all... you just need to know the limitations.

To be frank, the iClear30 that came with the MVP v.2 went in the trash in under 30 minutes.
The Aerotank version 2 was a nice vape, but the coils were terrible.
