Coils for Evod Glass and Evod VV

Hello,

Hopefully I'm following protocol by posting this.

I recently upgraded from really cheap and crappy vapes to an Evod VV adjustable battery with an Evod Glass tank. It came with the 1.5 Ohm coil and I purchased the 1.8 ohm coils from Mt Baker Vapor, which are advertised to work with the Evod Glass. I inserted the coil and there doesn't seem to be a connection. Does any have an idea of why this is the case? If these are the wrong coils, can anyone offer advice on which to use if I want to crank the volts to 4.2-4.4? Pictures are below. The coil in the pic looks like the dual coil for PT 3 or aerotank. I'm not sure those work in the EVOD.

Notice the package does say the EVOD glass, so? Maybe they should work! Just my own experience with dual coils, they didn't work as well on small stick batteries that I have (itaste or ego vv3). I normally use a single coil like Susan-S posted. It does work in the aerotank even though it's not supposed to..

Thanks everyone. Am I mistaken that the Evod Glass uses the dual coils used by the new pro tanks etc? That's what I thought. Is this an old Evod Glass or something?

Is it just not firing at all, or weak vapor/taste production. I have no experience with the EVOD glass, it apparently is supposed to use the dual coil, did it work with the factory installed coil? Did you buy more than 1 1.5 coils to try, maybe just got 1 bad one?

Basically, I thought that you had to put the silicon-looking cap on the other coils, but if you do that, it won't work. Sorry for the stupid error!

New to the forum, and really appreciate the rapid responses. Hopefully I can pay it forward in the future.

Hello there, and welcome, Jwaterski!

EVOD Glass with the upgraded kanger coils is a nice little setup, even better with a VV battery.
As you already found out, you've got the right coils.
Now for the Ohms - 1.5 or 1.8? Please, read this thread, where this is more or less explained. I had the confusion too at the beginning.

Last, but not least - vape on!
