How long do coils normally last, I use bvc 1.6/8 in my nautilus mini and the Plato. 4 in the Plato. Just wondering how long coils should last

That is a complicated question.

There are many factors to consider.

The watts you use. Scorching or burning the wick and its over.

Sweet sticky juices clog the wick faster than other flavors.

I would say two days to two weeks.

I use RTAs and my coils last 2 1/2 -3 months. About every 10-15 days i take out tge deck, gently remove tge wick and toss it. Dry burn the gunk off the coil insert another wick and i'm vaping in about 2-3 minutes.

I change my coils after 7-10 days if I use Nautilus BVC.
But, I don't use this tank in the evenings.
But, I also never wait for the nasty taste business. Some coils I take out are still not too bad and would extend further.

If I had to guess, I'd say 5-8 days with an average gunky liquid. I also run them 'high' so running them low with a clean liquid could double that.
I'm finding the Cubis coils noticeably longer-lasting. Maybe progress is being made.

In my RDAs? A month or more.

In tanks? I use Aspire Atlantis II tanks. They last 2 weeks to 6 weeks depending on all of the factors mentioned above.

The secret to getting a coil to last is to work with the setup you have and don't dry burn it.
