Figuring out my next move...

First a hello from a forum newbie

I just bought a vaporesso target pro and so far I'm not happy with it. I should be able to return it, but I'm not sure of my next move.
I'm not new to vapor but I'm not very informed either. Sadly, I have no vape buddies Lol. Can someone recommend a vaporizer with high tank capacity (5-6ml), adjustable air flow and wattage (not in need of super high power), and a battery that will last more than one day? The aspire Plato battery lasts 2-4 days for me.

For my new target, I pulled a battery from my aspire Plato. After hours of charging in the target the % goes up 1-2 points while in Plato it charges fully in a reasonable amount of time. I spent $85 locally for the target kit and don't want to put more $$ into this via a new battery. I could figure out why my juice leaked out, but I can't find info on the battery problem like amperage recommend for the adapter.

The Plato is the best vape I've had though only my second after an itaste vv that I had problems with charging also. It's inconvenient to change the coil but I like the hit. I have dropped it many times though and the casing is a bit broken.

Hi and welcome,
If I were you, I would return the Vaporesso and get another Plato.

"If it ain't broke...Keep it away from me."

Is your problem with the tank or the mod? What exactly is the problem? What battery are you using? What have you set the watts to? And how does all that compare to the Plato (particularly the mod settings)? The answers to those questions will help us help you.

There's a leaking issue too but the main issue is it not charging. I have a 18650 -- 3.7 v battery. Not sure that's what you're asking but it came with the Plato. The target is set to 20.5w and the Plato to 9.5w.

Can the Target be charged via usb? Not all mods can. It's always better and safer to use a quality external charger. The Plato lasts longer because it has the wattage set lower. What is the brand and model of your batteries and are you using the same batteries in both mods? I suspect that you're using batteries that are not suited for vaping.

The target and aspire both have USB cables. I'm not sure of my adapter's numbers, it's at home so I can't check.

At the store, I was basically told "it charges fine here so there's nothing wrong with the unit" but it continues to not charge for me. They recommended an external charger this time. They should have mentioned my $95 wasn't going to be the end of it. I'm miffed but my ignorance isn't their fault - so I know but don't fully believe lol. I just can't grasp these vaping concepts.

Since I can't get a refund I guess I'll have to make it work. But trying to figure out what battery and charger/adapter or external device would be best... I'm confused. Advice? Please? In case it's helpful I'm going to post specs for the target pro

I like a decent cloud but a giant cloud isn't important to me. I just want a good hit that feels right (helpful lol). I want the battery to last at least a day. At 9.5 w my battery in the Plato (Aspire ICR 18650, 2500mAh, 3.7 v) lasts 2-4 days depending on frequency of use, which is awesome.
Not sure what's the most efficient single-battery mod, but none is efficient enough to last a full day unless you vape at a low wattage or vape less. The 20+w you've set the Vaporesso to will drain the battery in less than half the time of the 9.5w on the Plato. Get authentic 3000 mAh batteries (Sony vtc6, LG hg2, Samsung 30q) and vape at a lower wattage. If you want to make sure that your batteries last a long time get a dual-battery mod. There are some pretty small ones out there nowadays. The Smok Alien reportedly has good battery life (I haven't gotten mine yet so I can't confirm it).

@jjacque

I deleted my original post to this thread because I was confused and got impatient.

5ml or 6ml tanks are usually found in some all-in-one devices like the Aspire Plato, or even 10ml in the Kanger Nebox! ... or Squonker hardware like Kanger Dripbox or Eleaf Pico Squeeze.
Sure, you can buy a Kanger Subtank in that sort of size if you really want. The really good large tanks are often rebuildable only. (Griffin 25, Lemo, Kayfun, Merlin, Aromamizer)

Now, the real question is.... why would you want such a huge tank if you are vaping so little or so gently that one battery can last you 2-4 days?
My favourite tank at the moment is a 4ml tank which lasts me all day as long as I swap last thing in the evening to something else. BUT, a battery will not last me 2 days...

If you can't return the Vaporesso Mod, you can put almost any tank you like on it from 1.0ml to 6.0ml to even more! The bigger the tank, the less stable, the more heavy and generally unwieldy it is.

I'd have thought even a 3-4ml tank would last you way more than 24 hours...

The plato's capacity with the nautilus coil is 5.6 ml. I don't fill it all the way usually but I like its size and not having to worry about a burnt hit as much. Good though that you mention stability. Maybe I'll look for a 3-4 ml tank. This one is just too small.

And thanks for the battery info, it gives me a place to start. Thanks everyone

Yes, sadly for us in Europe, things are only getting worse.
Tanks over 2ml be not be on sale from May 2017. That's why many of us have stocked up.
2ml isn't much use to anybody... maybe in the old days when people bought a basic eGo pen battery and a Kanger evod or protank, but these days e-cigs are way more powerful and that uses up liquid very fast.
My favourite size is probably about 3-4ml. I need to buy one or two more before the lock-down and need to decide whether to get rebuild only or some of each.
Strangely, my least favorite rebuild only tank at the moment in the Kayfun v.5. Not much enjoying that tank... it seems to be neither a mouth to lung or a direct inhale.
I use the Merlin tank as a MTL and the Uwell Crown as a DTL. Everybody is different, hence the amount of products.
