I have a dse 901 and I am wondering why my vapor is cool instead of hot. I am using VG as my base with VG based e-liquid. I have tried just flue cured flavor with VG and also flue cured,VG and menthol crystal liquid. It is less cool without menthol, but cool non the less. Really cool with menthol added. I am getting lots of vapor production. I was just wondering if this is normal or do I need to try a different model to get a warmer vapor?

I find that generally speaking the 901 produces a "cool" vapor.... cooler than I get on my 510. The design of the atty, the length of the cartridge.. all of these contribute to the vapor temperature.

If the "coolness" of the vapor bothers you, you can heat it up a little bit by using your finger to "work" the vent hole on the atomizer. By blocking the hole when you begin your inhale.. and then letting off... you can get a slight vapor temperature increase.

From all the research I've done and read on ECF, it's because it's 3.7v. The bigger battery mods that ppl make and sell, produce warmer vapor at 5v to 6v, as opposed to reg. lower 3.7v e-cigarette.

I use a 901 and I can't stand cold vapor. Sometimes (with a regular battery) it was warm, sometimes cold. I think it was a brand newly charged battery that made the difference.

I had hubby build me a 5V passthru and a battery box. Problem solved.
Grab a mod, just make sure it's 5V and not 6 or you'll blow out 20 attys
801 can take 6V. 901 - not so much:oops:
