Hello i have a question about menthol eliquid.

I have recently got a KFMV3 it is working wonderfully i am using 0mg juices now i just stepped down from 3mg a few weeks ago i found what works for me is a mouth to lung tank with some menthol juice, I absolutely love it! My shop sells 30ml's of liquid for 14.99 i go through bottles in 2 days and thats mouth to lung vaping, I asked what they use and they told me 100% VG and menthol crystals so i went out and ordered VG and some menthol crystals from ebay. Now i can't use PG it causes me respiratory problems menthol and VG has that cold feeling but is also very smooth and full feeling, Sorry for the long message but can i mix some menthol crystals with VG to make a max VG menthol juice? I have been going through way too much i quit to save money haha

I believe you could but I don't think they will dissolve very easy in just VG. Maybe try dissolving some in a little bit of distilled water since you can't do PG and then add it to your VG. Someone else may come along with a better solution. Good luck and VAPE ON

Menthol dilutes best in pure grain alcohol. If your in a colder climate like me you may need to give it a warm bath after mixing to help to VG absorb it. Menthol/WaterMelon is my ADV.

haven't used that one but not much 1-2% usually. Make 5-10ml batches till you get it where you like it.

You can buy menthol crystals really cheaply from pharmacists, and they can be dissolved until saturated in a solution of pure water, grain alcohol or PG (the amount of PG when used as a flavour carrier will be really small).

This is what I do when I want to make up a palate-cleansing menthol juice - I make a saturated menthol solution in PG, and use a few drops of it in a 30ml juice bottle with the PG/VG mix.

Base line for menthol flavoring is 10%. Some suppliers go higher or lower. To make menthol flavoring you simply add 1g of crushed menthol crystals to 9ml of carrier liquid. Most use PG or PGA. Since you expressed your sensitivity to PG, I would recommend heating your VG and thinning it with distilled water. Add this flavoring to your USP VG until you have a mix you prefer. I would flavor my liquid @5% to begin and increase flavor ratio until satisfaction. Heat is necessary to dissolve the crystals, but with your minimalist mix, you have no worry of damaging the VG from mild heat.

When I make menthol liquid for my parents, I add 10g of menthol crystals to 180ml of finished liqiid. YMMV

Quite possible it is PG solution (most of flavors come in PG).
You can dissolve crystals in water (1 part of crystals on 9 parts of water). You'll need to add water to VG anyway if you do not want to use PG, about 10% of water. With menthol you'll need to experiment - start with 2 drops of flavor solution per 10 ml of juice, add more if needed.

Be sure you are using pharmaceutical grade glycerin, in is called USP glycerin.

10% water seems high.What ratio are you looking for as a comparison? Max VG could be anywhere from 99% VG to 70VG. 10% water alone will make it like 70VG thickness. If you want something as close to 100VG as possible but still vapable a few drops per 10ml will be enough depending on what your tank can handle. Your PGA or water menthol will thin it as well.
