Is it experiencing frequent drastic temp changes right around the time it misfires, like bringing it out into the cold and then back into the warm house? This sort of thing can cause moisture condensation, which can cause electronics to act up a bit. May not be your problem, but it's an idea . . .

Just wondering if anybody's experienced this?

Since the weather's taken a turn for the worse. My BP seems to misfire on occasion. A flip to check the red/ blue LED and the thing fires again. Do I have a loose connection?

It's infrequent, so I don't know what the issue is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the top screw to see if it is snug, also the internal wire might be loose ? COld normally will not do that,.
