Hi volters I have a white 66mm battery that I use during work, which is electrical. So my hands great pretty dirty and its makeing my batt dirty and its gets sticky from the grime and gunk. I was looking at getting the silver batt and from the pics it looks like its stainless steel without the soft touch material, is this correct? Also for anyone that has the silver batt is it easy to wipe off dirt and grime, my white battery coating is already getting "crumbly" after only having it for a week and trying to clean the dirt off.

Yes smooth no rubber coating ... The gold and the rainbow are the same and yes you can wipe it away like chrome.

Get a wrap for your white one. They are also a bit "slick" and easy to wipe off. They do wear out after a while, but then you just change it for another new look.
Of course, if the coating on the white one is "grainy", that texture will still be felt thru the wrap since they are of such a thin material. It takes a steady hand to get them on straight, but it sounds like the work you do that shouldn't be a problem.

Silver was the first bat I ever owned...and yes it should be easy to clean. However, it is also slick (slippery) so if you have oily grim, it could be difficult to grip. Still the silver is one of my favorites...I have a soft spot for it since it was what got me off cigarettes. 7 months, it's still going strong.
