I have been doing DIY for a while now and have been using mainly TPA for flavouring. I find their flavours to be mostly clear with little colour. I wanted to try some of the other flavours and was wondering which brands tend to use the least colour in their flavours.

Also, is there one brand that tends to give the best "bang for the buck" as far as price vs percentage used to acheive moderate flavour?

Flavour Art. Most of their flavorings are plenty strong by 3%. Quite a few need even less; some go 3-5%, very few need more. If you go too high, many of their flavors actually fade. They don't add colorings, and just a very few are brown (Cocoa, for example). Even that vapes clean at the low percent needed. I use mostly FA and TFA - their flavors blend well in recipes.
