colour question?regarding components?

Hi everyone...Just ordered all white for my first ecig(as other half wants to resemble cig but i dont care)....for future purchases should i stick with white or can i get different colours....im sure theyd look strange mixd and matched but i want black(not loadsa cash to buy another kit yet) and am thinking now if i get one blk atom. and 1 blk batt and one or other dies the other will be useless....what does everyone here do?stick to one colour or mix and match?

also if u mix and match what colours work and what just looks stupid?(incl. cart colors!)

As long as you buy the same e-cig in multiple colors- they're compatible. There are many models however, so if you get a white 510 and a black m401, you're going to have trouble if one part goes out.

As a rule of thumb, e-cigs are only compatible with the same model. Notable exceptions have to do with the m40x series (where 1/2/3 denotes the battery length, with 01 being the longest and 03 the shortest), the m702 (compatible with the cartridges from the m40x series, but nothing else), and an array of adapters, usually used for the high powered mods available out there.

Remember also that there are many different suppliers, and sometimes they make small changes (sometimes superficial) to stock devices and occasionally market them under different names.
Though some make claims that their particular version of a certain device is better, I think most people will believe that customer service is still more important, so find a merchant you like.

Thankyou Raenon....if i was to look it up and search i would be here for hours...so many helpful people here with knowledge at their fingertips....im trying to find out things for myself but thats alot of posts...and even more threads....trying to only make posts that i havaent seen answered but i suppose this one may be flogged to death a bit...

can anyone point me in the direction of all carts and atomisers/batteries that can be used for dse901(not including crazy mods...just everyday stuff) is this listed anywhere what i can use?

I use 2 different color carts. Black for tobacco flavors, White for anything else, that way I know what flavor I'm choosing when I grab for one of my PV's.

In terms of color compatibility, you'll want to have multiple batteries and atomizers anyways (starting with two of each so you have a backup (1) while one battery charges, and (2) if one atomizer fails). So you can get multiple colors and mix them if you like. Or have, say, a few atomizers and a battery or two in one color, and a few atomizers and a battery or two in another color, so you can always choose (and see for yourself if the combo looks bad). Once you know you're sticking with a particular model, it's good to be stocked up on parts anyway, at least to whatever extent you can afford (big orders minimize shipping costs after all).

DSE901s are available from several Chinese suppliers (Heaven-Gifts.com, HealthCabin.net, EastMall.net) if you want lower prices and can wait for longer shipping times (or pay extra for EMS airmail).
I've also heard good things about the genuine SLB (the original DSE901 factory) parts at ElectroNicStix.com (code ecf10 for 10% off). I just got a wine-red atomizer from them to put on a black 901-compatible high voltage modification (the Xhaler). I think the glossy black+wine red combo will look very good.
There are also a LOT of other suppliers for the 901, of course, so it's worth looking around!
