Combining Juice / Carto Types?

OK - So I am newbie, at this only 2 weeks, but I am ready to start re-filling my cartos. I've got a few bottles of WOW juice from V4L as well as a bottle from a competitor (they had a special I couldn't pass up ry4 from fsusa).

So I've read and seen videos about cleaning cartos and I plan on doing the boiling method. My question is, with different types of cartos (Cool, WOW and regular), is there any advantage / disadvantage to using a particular juice with a particular cart?

Will a WOW juice work fine in a regular or Cool Cart? Will a non-WOW juice work OK in a WOW cart? I can't imagine there being that much difference, but thought it was worth asking.

On a similar note - is there a standard PG/VG mix in the various V4L juices? Are cool carts all xx/yy % and WOW juices all aa/bb %? Just trying to find my favorites and wondering about the science behind them.

Congrats on your move to filling your own carts. I am quite a newb but am glad that I started juicing my own cartos. The whole experience is a "fresher" one.

I don't do the boil method, but it works great for some. I just microwave a bowl of water for about 2 minutes or until hot to the touch(not quite OUCHIE! hot). I put the carts in there for a couple 5 minutes to loosen the liquid. I take them out and run each under really warm tap water(mouthend) for about 30 seconds and then blow out(mouthend) all the excess water/juice residue. I re-run them through the tap water/blow-out stage until I feel it is clean. I then leave them to dry for 24 hour. Works for me.

BTW..Menthol carts can be tough with any method. My menthol carts get refilled with menthol.

Different juices are better/NOT better-er...IMO...in different carts. Any juice can be used in any cart, but the taste-test is up to your T-buds. Most of my juice goes in cool carts, but I prefer some in the WoW carts.

I may be wrong, but I think WoW juice is around 80/20....PG/VG.

Everyone "used to" know someone in Rochester. It just proves that more people move out than move in around here. hahaha!

The wow liquid is a vapor producer..so if you use another liquid , you may not get the same results..just a heads up. To add a touch of vapor if you feel your other non wow liquids are not giving enough vapor..add a few drops of Glycerin (USP) from the drug store to your bottle. It's the same as V.G..
