+1 on the sub tank mini. A plus is you can swap to an occ coil if you don't feel like building, and the occ coils are a breeze to rebuild as well.
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

But I have heard it is not really good at 1.2 -1.8 ohms (as I will use it) and that it is too airy for higher ohms.

Running 1.7 now. No problems. 26g with 14 wraps.

Thank you very much for reply and link, but I still have a few questions to you (I am lucky you have two devices I am interested
about).

Is it possible to change coil for GT II without draining it? Is it possible to fill it with eye-drop bottle?

And in your review of GT II you mentioned that “KF4 clone … in comparison with this GT II it was a nightmare to get working right”. Does it mean it was difficult to do for the first time, or it is difficult to do even after you have learned how to use it? From youtube videos it looks like the most difficult part (wicking) is really easy for KF4 (just push wicks down, not need to align them with channels).

So sorry, I've spent half an hour writing you a reply but the forum logged me out and lost it. I'll try again tomorrow. Meantime have a look at this note I wrote on the KY4 and yes it's very easy to refill the GT II; unscrew the base, fill, screw in the base, you're done. Dropper, needle eye dropper are all easy. I think Grimmgreen has a good youtube vid on wicking the one or both atties (maybe, possibly). They're both very easy.

That would just be from people who consider anything at 1.2 to 1.8 ohms to be not really good; nothing to do with the subtank itself.
The subtank will be fine at 1.2 to 1.8 ohms.

But also there's the new subtank plus to look at; it's the improved subtank, using the rba head that came out with the subtank mini.

I think the kayfun lite was the easiest for me to start with, and at roughly 13.00 from FT was cheap enough that if I couldn't do it I wouldn't be out much money.

Practice makes perfect.

I have not problems with using RTA's and RDA's. I am looking not for the easiest, but for most comfortable one, for middle of the road vaping (I do not need clouds).

Sorry I was just trying to help I certainly won't bother again.

It's me who should be sorry (and I am sorry). I do appreciate all the help I can get. I was just trying to keep discussion in the direction I needed. English, as you can see, is not my first language, and I am trying to be as brief as possible. Unfortunately this time my desire to shorten my message made me unintentionally rude. I apologize.

Thank you for apologizing. I thought that was rude to her and wasn't going to offer any more assistance after that comment.

Sorry to bore you again but I just needed to fill in a few holes.

A few weeks ago I was using a Vamo V5 and recoiled/rewicked RGM2 exclusively. I liked the tight draw and clean flavour. I also liked being able to have spare coils lying around to change quickly.
Out of curiosity I borrowed an Aspire Atlantis which was very good but not rebuildable so I bought a Kanger 25mm subtank for it's RBA deck. I enjoyed that so much that I immediately bought another one - even though clouds and lung hits are not really my thing.
I got bored by the big subtanks after a week or two. I missed the RGM2 flavour and the chimneys were prone to lock solid causing much time wasting when rewicking. Also, the prebuilt wicks liked spitting at me.

I tried the KY4. (See previous message.) The flavour was very much better than the RGM2.
I tried the GT II. (See previous message.) The flavour was as good as, if not better than, the KY4. The airflow was better also.
Neither KY4 or GT II gives the same draw/airflow as the RGM2 but overall the vape was much more enjoyable.

I never use the subtanks now.
I use the KF4 15% of the time.
I use the Taifun 84%.
I use the RGM2 1%.

Note:
1. I had to buy some iSticks as the Vamo wasn't satisfactory for the higher power required for the new atties.
2. I am revisiting old eliquids. The new kit brings out flavours I never knew were there.

I hope there's something interesting in these ramblings for you and wish you good luck with whatever you eventually buy.

It must have:

- Single coil
- Easy to refill and disassemble

Desirable features:

- Filling with eye-dropper bottle (not with needle-nosed one)
- Ability to change coil without pouring out liquid (desirable, but not required)
- Glass tank (I just do not know when to add juice if I do not see its level)

And what can you say about this one, does it fit description of what I need?

Taifun GT fits your criteria. Single coil, extremely easy to build and wick, so easy to fill that you can do so from a wide-mouth gallon jug if that's your preference, and can access the build deck without draining liquid. Being an older design, you should be able to pick one up (HCigar clone recommended) at a reasonable price. You specify glass, the clear tank section on the stock GT is plastic, and spares are readily available (in rainbow colors, yay!). I recall seeing glass tank sections for the GT somewhere, shouldn't be impossible to find. Or if glass is a must, check out the GT 2, though I don't know if it meets your other criteria.

Anyway, I agree. The mini screwdriver/needle nose bottle ritual is a major PITA after you've done it thousands of times. It's The Kayfun Blues, and I don't even want to think about how many hours of my life I've had to devote to doing it.

*Edit...I'm late to the game as always. See Puffaway's post above. :)

It is impolite to hijack a thread (and troll around some bullmanure) were straight question was asked. Please, go away.

It was part of the discussion at the time...and I wasn't even the person who brought it up. Not to mention, your post adds less to the subject at hand than my post, so...there's that.

Come on here and post a question, and then get on to people who reply. Awesome attitude there.
