So I was flipping through my TPB of Watchmen, and I remembered something. Years ago on a sci-fi forum, I posted a question asking what those funky looking cigarettes were, and I never, ever got an answer. The description of what the cigarettes looked like can only be compared to an unnameable substance delivery device, mainly a long glass tube with a globe near the end. If you've never read the Watchman TPB you won't know what I'm talking about.
Well... I did this retroactively in my mind... I decided they were all smoking funky vape mods. It's set in the 80's, but in a world where Dr. Manhattan's existance made a ton of stuff super-futuristic. And to me, nothing makes me feel like I'm actually living in a sci-fi world more than vaping. So "futurism" it makes my head spin.
