Alright so the first time I bought an e-cig was from this company all the way back in 2009. Since then I've been switching back and forth between cigarettes, different venders, and V4L. I love V4L and the only reason I haven't stuck around is because ordering online is a pain. I have a smoke shop close to my house that has Vapor King products that I have been using, and they're absolutely terrible. V4L honestly has the best customer service I've ever seen. Every problem I've ever had was taken care of. Anyways I want to come back to the V4L family but everything is so confusing now. Back when I started it was just a battery and a carto. Now there's a crazy amount of different products and I have no idea what any of it is. For me I want one battery that is going to last me all day chain vaping. I also like the idea of having a bottle of juice with me and just refilling when ever I need to. So I'm trying to figure out what products would be best for me, and need some help. I've also noticed there are different products that aren't compatible with others, so if you leave a suggestion it would be helpful you you also included what I could use with it. I don't really have a price limit so everything is a possibility. Thanks in advance!

RandomHero sir would go with 2 900mah DAVs or 2 1300 DAVs or a 900mah DAV and a Zeus, a tank, and a smileo, along with a slim line charger. Say get two because the charge times on the DAV is very long, but depending on how many stick batts you go through, one of these might last you all day. The Zeus will charge faster, and can be used as a pt, but also only runs at 5v. For some this is a drawback, others it isn't. If you like the extra jolt a passthrough gives you, then the Zeus is an easy choice. With the DAV you can go 3.3v-4.8v but as stated earlier the charge time can be a killer. The smileos and tanks are both compatible with the Zeus and DAV, some just prefer smileos others tanks.... Hope this helps.

I usually use probably one and a half to two XL battery's a day. What's the main difference between the DAV and Zeus? Are they comparable in size?

Edit: what are smileomizers and why are they so expensive? How long do they last?

Hey RandomHero, welcome back to the fam! :)

I agree with Morandir that you should try the Vapor Zeus and Dial-A-Volt. I don't know how much you know about the Vapor Zeus battery, but there are two options. One battery is automatic only. The other is dual mode and you can use it as either a manual or automatic by clicking the button 5 times. If I were you, I'd get the Dual Mode Zeus because it's so cool. Both types of Vapor Zeus run at 5 volts.

If you like variable voltage devices, the Dial-A-Volt is the way to go. They range in voltage from 3.2 to 4.8 volts.

Also, we now have sampler packs of juice that each contain 5 differerent flavors in 10ml bottles.

All of our products are KR808, and are compatible with each other. The only exclusion is the EGO mega carts, which really only work with the EGO.

There are two different sizes of the Smileomizer - 6ml and 3.5ml. They're essentially giant carts, but hold a lot more and last a lot longer.

Good luck!

What's the difference with different volts? Why would someone prefer the 5 volts over the 3 and vice versa?

The greater the voltage, the stronger the throat hit. Some juices taste better when vaped at lower voltages, while others taste better at higher voltages. "Techy" people like to play around with the voltage, while others would rather just have one voltage and not have to play with it.

Awesome, thanks for the reply! But I have one more question. I usually use two XL battery's a day. How would the small Zeus compare to those? Would the small Zeus last all day long with heavy vaping? Or should I go with the medium or XL? I really don't want a huge device though.

I didn't understand the reasons for VV until I got my first DAV, and all I can say is "WOW". I have discovered that most of my juices taste best at 4.2V, something I never understood before my DAV. Absolutely you should get a couple of DAV's.

I'll jump in :). And yessir! The Zeus will give you all day battery life, longer than using two XL stick batts. I use this "rule of thumb" and I only put the quotes because it will vary for every vaper BUT, 100mAh is about 1 hour of vaping. So the 650mAh (Small) or 900mAh (Medium) Zeus or DAVs can get you from 7-10 hours of battery life. I use a 1300mAh DAV and I charge it up on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays...no joke. I'm really only a heavy vaper at work and settle down when I get home so I don't need to charge as often, but you see, they can last A WHILE!

Oh, and they aren't too big. The DAV and Zeus from 650mAh-1100mAh are about the circumference of a nickel and the 1300mAh (Big Daddys) are as thick as quarter.

Well I only want to buy one battery. I want one that will last all day. You think the DAV is a better choice over the Zeus? It looked to me that the Zeus was thinner than the DAV and that's definitely what I'm looking for. I'm just wondering if a small Zeus can last all day with heavy vaping.

Thanks for the reply. But I'm still not quite sure how big they are. I have a Vapor King Storm, the newer one with the led on it. Does anyone else have one that can do a size comparison for me?

The only downside to getting a Zeus, if you've never tried VV, is that you may find that 5.0 V is too much for the flavors you like. Or you may love it. getting a DAV lets you try VV from 3.2-4.8, so you can see if you like the higher voltages or not. The 1300 DAV should last you all day, like it does for Bham. Just my :2c:

Fwiw, the Zeus and DAV of the same mah are the same size. With the exception of the dual mode. Those are a little bit longer, sorry I don't have exact measurements.

If you want a real world example, do you have any AA batteries laying around? The Zeus and DAV are about the same width as those, except the 1300s which are thicker. The width is the only thing comparable though as the ecigs are longer and weigh much less. Mr. Rocco posted a great length comparison pic.

Welcome back to V4L :) Ask away! We are more than happy to help.

Welcome back RandomHero! I loved the DAV when it came out. I've always preferred higher voltage devices running them at 5-6v with a high resistance cart(cool carts mostly 3.0 ohm+). It's been my experience that higher voltage with higher resistance brings out the flavor in everything. I didn't really like the smileomizers when they first came out(because of the standard 2.5ohm), but now I can't put them down!(you can refill them at least 12 times or more) I rotate 2 small vapor Zeus through out my day, and I haven't gone back to the DAV because I really have no need to adjust the voltage. I'm fine at five volts. If you are looking to compare the longevity of these, the XL batteries are about 420mah. So, you can choose 650mah, 900mah, or 1300mah for the Zues. I think you would be fine with anyone Zeus because you can charge it while you're using it. Morander tested for drawbacks of over using the Zeus in passthru mode(Thanks Morandir) and you will lose battery life after a while so check that thread out if you have time. Good luck!
