I started vaping about a year ago and found the ECF forum. I originally ordered a KR808D-1 and loved it. As soon as I got it I started vaping and I didn't have an analog for several weeks without missing them. I was a 21/2 to 3 pack a day smoker for 40 years, so my non-smoking family members were thrilled. I started feeling a difference in my breathing and sense of smell, and I showed off my ecig to everyone.

My problem was that I worked in a very small group home where all 6 employees smoked. I had each of them try my ecig, but every one of them practically coughed up a lung every time they tried it, so they weren't interested. We worked 2 at a time and always took our smoke breaks together. After the newness wore off, I guess, I started wanting to smoke analogs with them. It felt like I was missing out while they were smoking.

Long story short (too late, I know) I gradually gave up vaping all together and went back to analogs. My equipment has been gathering dust for almost a year. Lately my fiance has been wheezing like crazy. He's a former 4 pack a day smoker who gave it up with much difficulty 10 years ago because of the beginnings of emphysema. He never complains about my smoking, but hearing him wheezing at night made me feel guilty, so I dusted off my ecig and tried vaping when we're in the bedroom together, which is most of the time since he's retired, I'm laid off and our computers are in there.

I'm trying to get back to vaping instead of smoking. I think I need a little more power to get me back into vaping full time, so I figured I'd invest in a Hello 016 and an eGo with adapters for 808 cartomizers since I loved the ease of them, plus I still have some I never opened. They should be arriving in a few days.

Wish me luck!

Good luck! And good choices of PVs. Just make sure you visit this forum a lot.........this is a GREAT support group. And since you're spending more time with a non-smoker now than the work buddies, you shouldn't be so tempted. Hang in there. Get some great juice and go for it. Your fiance AND your body will thank you.

Welcome back!

Don't worry about it, you'll do well.

Might I recommend using a really good juice in a high mg nicotine content? I know slapping on a cartomizer is the hight of convenience, but a strong and tasty juice will do wonders in keeping you off the tobacco cigarettes - and you can fill those cartomizers that you already have.

I think the equipment that you use to vape has a lot to do with giving up analogs. I'm sure this time you will quit. Maybe the adapter for the 808 is not a good idea. You need something satisfying like a mega cartridge with a mega atty for a lot of vapor production.

Thanks for your support. I've been lurking again for week before this post. I got the Hello 016 and the eGo because I read that they make lots of vapor and that's what I like, along with the 24 mg juices that I have for a decent TH. I'll be getting a few 501 cartomizers to try with the set, so I'll see how I like that before ordering again.

Thanks again.
