I just got mine today & it is the best thing since sliced bread!

I have been hooking up every atty and carto I have and the ProVari just rocks!

I love the ohm checker, battery level, of course voltage adjustment in 0.1 increments.

I wish I had the cash to buy another one, as I drive a lot during the day, and love to change juice often.

No buyers remorse from this guy!

I've had mine now for a grand total of 5 hours. I am over the moon! As my carto and juice of choice seems to perform best at approx 4 to 4.2 V, the set voltage mods aren't quite what I'm after. I love being able to buy any atomizer or cart and knowing it will work. That covers variable voltage.

As for the unit itself, it's perfection. It's gorgeous, well made and easy to use. And then being able to switch it off, check resistance as well as the battery is a huge plus.

After an agonizing wait, I am more than happy. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't hold up over the long run and it does exactly what I want it to do easily and looks good doing it.

The ProVari is Very Pro! Fantastic piece of machinery! I can check the battery status, the Ohms, the voltage..it has built in safety features...it's an absolute beauty! This will have to be pried from my cold, dead hand! I'm using a regular 510 atty at 4.2 and it vapes like a charm. I need to make a holder for it for my car, because I don't want to be without it. Now, if it would only vibrate. jk

I placed my order for mine, couldn't wait to get it in my hands and bought one in the classified section, never canceled my original order, so now I will have two. I've had the one I got on classifieds for a little over a week, and I couldn't be happier with it. Cartomizers, tank mods, atomizers, whatever I throw at it, at whatever resistance, it just works. And looks and feels pretty damned good while it does it.

So, obviously, I think it's worth the money. Twice. ;)

I've been using my Provari and nothing else since December 14th. Prior to the Provari, I bought three other vv mods. The Provari is excellent and I'm very happy with it. It works great with cartos and LR attys. I love being able to check the resistance of cartos and attys, and checking the battery without having to use a voltage meter.

Worth every dime. I did buy two.

I've a MAP tank on one, an XL carto on the other, and both just sitting here on my desk. Decisions, decisions.....

And enough battery life to see me through at least the first few days of the zombie apocalypse. You know, just till I round up a solar charger and can recharge my batteries while fighting off the ravening hordes of the undead.

I love mine. I don't know if it's from freeing up the wicks, or what, but they kick my CE2 XL cartos right out of the water in terms of flavor. Exact same juice comes out with richer and more robust flavor with the tank.

And I love vaping for two days on one refill. I just need to get a few more tanks going so I can pick my flavors. I don't always want to vape the same flavor for two days....

I don't know either...the MAP is awesome...it looks cool too!
I really like that I can replace the element just by cutting a ce2 to size and sticking it in there!
I bought another today too...first one is a 2.4ohm that rocks at 4.2v...got a 3.2ohm today...

coolone1 --

I'm a fairly new vaper -- 9.5 months. I started on the eGo . Great device; I'll always appreciate how it helped me kick butts. I ended up buying a 3.7 mod. Once again, great device, excellent machining and worked as it was designed. But something was always lacking -- I tried different attys... and on and on.

Enter the ProVari. There's many modders who posted in the BIG ProVari thread -- they love it. There's at least one electrical engineer -- jimho -- who got the beta ProVari -- he loves it. Check out his posts. There's many long time vapers who love it.

What the other posters said and : it's well machined, sturdy, and backed by a reputable company .
I have no regrets about buying a ProVari. I can adjust my voltage in .1 increments to get the perfect vape -- and the power is regulated so it stays the same until cut off.

I'm still looking for a good , long lasting atomizer. But my search for a PV ended with the ProVari.

Buy one -- it's worth every penny.

Edit: I'm adding this link : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/147480-potential-buyers.html

Included is an index of sorts for the big ProVari thread that I used to help me decide.

Yes, it is definitely worth buying! I just got mine today and I am still playing with it. So far it outperforms everything else I have. I find it easy to dial in the perfect voltage setting for any particular atty, carto, or even the juice.

I had bought two 306 attys after hearing how some like them. They were duds on my 510 and eGo batteries but they came to life on the Provari at 4.5 volts! The flavor of the juice is out of this world! I direct drip the 306 and it is amazing on the Provari! I wish I had an adapter so I could put my eGo Tank atty on it! (need a 510 to 510 adapter).

What is the wait time on this unit? Will any resistance atty/cart work on the unit. I have a sensitive VV right now and having issues with it not working unless it has 2.8 ohms and above. 2.5 just die out or don't work.

OP sorry to ask question on your thread! (Not meaning to derail but it is a good thread!) Hope its okay. Thank you.

We are planning for the converter to be able to supply 12.5 watts max.

The unit monitors for an output over current condition continuously. If one occurs due to an abnormally low resistance then the unit will limit the current to 2.5 amps. It will also look for a short (an atty with a very low resistance); if it detects this condition it will shut itself off. The shorted atty condition will be detected within approximately 1/3 of a second :)

Unless it has change you can use this link to find out the limits

Ohm's Law / Watt's Law Calculator fill in volts and ohm hit Calculate should also help with your other vv pv if you know what it's rated at.
