The loss of Lois has me really wondering about isbnbook (binners) and how he just disappeared, did anyone ever trade with him and have his email? I know spacekitty is as concerned as I am..........

Is it wrong that I have stopped even getting excited? I sort of look on it as a burden at this point, I feel like Don Quixote on a hallucinatory quest!!!

11 days to the next GG contest loss!!! Woo-hoo!!!!

It's not wrong. It just gets tiring after a while. I feel a slight glimpse of excitement when I see a worthwhile contest (especially if it's shiny) but it fades quickly because I need to save some for when I actually win which may never but you never know

RE: ISBN the only thing I know about him/his disappearance is ...

I know his FB account ...Kilgore Trout...it looks to be just a contest type account (no real info) just games & contests listings ...I messaged him but have never heard anything back ...matter of fact I just messaged him again last night ...but there has been NO activity on that account ....since the exact same day as activity stopped here Aug 12 th I think ....???? & that's all I know ........ I told him that we were wondering/worrying about him ...

I considered myself a close friend of his, and underneath that 'shock & awe' exterior was a sensitive, caring person... He wanted to send me some juice once, and now I'm sorry that I politely declined, because at least I would have had his address.. (if he would have used his REAL one... lol)

It's kinda funny, because just this morning I was thinking about posting one of those "Has anybody seen...??" type of threads somewhere here... since I have also tried to reach him on here... and on FB and VP under the name Kilgore Trout as well. There IS one place I could try, but I have to run out and do some last minute shopping (ugh!!) so I will check into it later.

I didn't understand smokstik's last contest but I am very happy for the winners, tbh I wouldn't know what to do with any of the stuff if I won!!! Dang, I just love to compete -- and it'll end up PIF'd anyway so its a good thing I keep trying, right? And what was with the 310 thing? Do people hate FB that much or is it one of those phishing things they were protesting? I couldn't get it to load so I have no clue -- not that that is unusual!!!

But I did win some juice accidentally this morning from Rob at GP!!!

Happy turkey day everyone! Just got back from the family visits and the local mall looks like a Sunday afternoon with all the cars. Locking myself in until at least 2pm tomorrow.

I miss my big bells!!! I'd wear them now but I live in the midwest, they're not in the Farm & Fleet....... I used ti have a Captain America outfit like Peter Fonda's in Easy Rider, wish i knew where I left it.......

So you think no go on the black fridaying, BB#3??? I have the unbalanced drifter look down pretty well, most normal people give me a wide berth!!!

The few times I have had to go out in that chaos, I'm always in my combat boots, black leather trench-coat, spiked dog collar, and riot gloves(which all that is fairly common for me anyway ). And in my single days it would be just after being at the bar all night so my hair was frizzed from being in the mosh-pit and I usually had some black lipstick on to top it off.... It looked like the parting of the Red Sea most everywhere I went.
While amusing to watch, my social anxiety would send me straight to fight or flight mode...and well I'm 6'2" and thickly built. Not made for flight..
