The sad part is it needed 2/3 majority to pass.

I hate the way government works sometimes. How online poker was banned in the middle of the night without debate. How the FDA listens to corperate lobbyists and not common sense. How they spend too much money. There should really be term limits on EVERY politician.

I was reading a little about Plato this morning -- in his utopia the rulers would have no property while they were in office, they would be doing it for the good of the people, not themselves -- that sure ain't this country!!!

Term limits are needed ASAP - -as is a repeal of the stupidest decisions of the Supreme Court about corporations being people and obscure campaign contributions by the super-wealthy, SuperPACs my ..., there is nothing public about any of those outfits just private interests.....
