OK, once again all weepy, watching the video of 1979 and thinking how that was me 33 years ago -- does that video hit too close to home for some of you, also? :)

Junebug skipping like a stone
With the headlights pointed at the dawn
We were sure we'd never see an end
To it all

Now I see it all too clearly......

:(

Not for me. In 1979, Gore hadn't invented the internet yet--heck, the military hadn't even split off from Arpanet yet--so I was in my room reading physical books or watching Monty Python and Dr Who on PBS. Songs about how great it is to have friends when you're a kid are just as fictional to me as movies.

I do try to sympathize with people who have something to feel nostalgic about, though :)

One 33 is a lot better than two 45's. Long-play all the way, baby!
Wait. 45's may be speedy, but they still have two sides each--that would be four...
You're not talking about records, are you?

No, you may find this hard to believe but I was making an allusion to her chest.........:lol::lol:

I actually cruised like that around Frankfort with my buddies Hyland and Couwenhoven in my Mercury Monterey, my sister and her two best friends with us, there was little to do but good times were found in that old boat.......:)
Mine was red.....:thumb:

Ha. Watching some 35 year old wax nostalgic about high school makes you feel old? Tell me where you were when this first hit the radio:

HA! Now you feel old.

And VT can feel young again

Wasn't that Helen Reddy originally? ;)
