Topic for the day -- am I a misogynist in any way? Do I objectify women? I make jokes about stuff but y'all know I'm not serious, right? A woman at Nu-Vapor hates me now, there was a semi-tasteless video that I poked fun with and she thought me serious, I feel badly that I somehow made an enemy.....

I have been mostly absent from the NV for a while now so I know nothing of the specifics of that about which you are talking. So, in compleat ignorance of the individual and specific situation I will take the opportunity to point out that some people revel in the chance to be offended. As a point of reference, I have been called a misogynist and a "feminazi" in the same conversation and have been called a "dumb... republican" and "liberal ....wit" for the same post.

If your offense was accidental and you have apologized and explained, then the onus for misunderstanding is on her and any continuance on her part is an externalization of her own issues...


TLDR: No, dude. Some people just can't be happy unless they're indignant about something.

My best friend once told me he'd go out with anyone other than "Big-foreheaded Christian girls", he said you could see how uptight they were by the way they pulled back their hair.
