I'm confused by this. I know as supplier/supplier associate, you can still read the classies, I check them out sometimes as they come up in new posts, and I know I can't post to sell, but are you saying that I can still pm ppl to buy? Didn't think supplier/supplier associate could buy from classies either?

As a Supplier/Supplier Associate:

You cannot post new threads in the Classifieds.
You cannot post replies to existing threads in the Classifieds.
You cannot initiate a PM exchange concerning a product you make or sell.

You can PM to buy. You can PM to trade. I have done both. I have not been secretive about it, and I have had at least one person leave me iTrader feedback (though I no longer have permission to even view my own feedback).

PMing with a trade offer about an item you make and/or sell would be a grey area at best, and I would suggest not responding at all to a WTB about an item you make or sell. But participating in the classifieds via PM concerning items in which you do not have a commercial interest is expressly within the posted rules of the ECF Supplier/SA guidelines.

When I first started this vaping + forums adventure (relatively recently, to be sure) ECF was nice and easy and VF was hard(core)--there was a lot of relevance and substance there, but you had to "earn" it by surviving all the crap. With the recent explosion in popularity of vaping forums, though, the relevance has dwindled away and the substance has been re-archived to other places. I think it's so vilified now because it has become so marginal.

As for the hardware, that is the way of things. Innovation -> refinement -> reworking -> repackaging. The innovation part of the cycle is, by nature, both explosive and shortest-lived. But it will come around again. It is the same thing with cars and computers and architecture and information storage and farming equipment and medical technology and...

Hey you might find a lobster tail in the dumpster behind a fancy restaurant but do you really want to dig through the trash to find it?

I can understand a "boys night out" seedy bar kind of thing. Smoking cigars, drinking shots, and good natured ribbing each other. I wouldn't say it's the kind of place you go to learn something. ECF is like a library - "shh" don't annoy your fellow patrons in the stacks - take it "outside" VF is like a seedy bar where you wouldn't take a lady - you wash your hands BEFORE using the bathroom and you sit with your back to the wall with your hand over your drink. Oh and watch you don't get knifed and beaten for no reason.

I would love it if you did for two reasons - -one, because you're a sweetheart; and two, I would rub my head every time at the gas station prior to buying some for me!!!
