I think I just might be the 1st Winner of the New Year... depending on how you look at it...
I won a little Pawz Mod from Parkes Vaping last night (which I have REALLY wanted for a long time...) and it was already past Midnight there, but not here. So whose time zone do you go by?? Was it my last Win of the old year, or the 1st one ringing in the New??? I need some help here....
And then I was so excited about winning the Mod, that I forgot all about the batts I was gonna need for it... none of which I already have and can't afford any others ringht now. But then I remembered the box of Goodies that my dear friend Ripple had sent me recently, and it had a bunch of odd batts in it... including some of BOTH kinds that the Pawz takes... and they will work with my charger, too!!!
If you were here, Ripple, I would give you a BIG HUG and KISS!!!!
But the Powers That Be have a twisted sense of humor... and when I woke up this morning my computer wouldn't boot. Normally I just leave it on, but I thought I would give it a rest for the New Year and start off fresh... LMAO!!!
So I dragged out an old laptop that barely works (I had to hook-up my keyboard to it, too) just to check my email and to leave this post here...
I hope the rest of this year turns out to be better than this day started out for me... with MORE WINS and fewer ups and downs!!! Ha!!

I'm just a sucker for one of a kind items. To be honest, if I could order a P+ with those options, I'd save up for it and maybe even get it with SS top and bottom caps instead of brass but I won't be able to get one for a long time I am sure and I sure as heck won't have the money

No, I love my birds too Ripple. I always make sure they have food and fresh water even if I have to go out in ten below weather. I do understand and share your frustration with stray cats Rip. Although sometimes it is a hawk that gets them. I get so angry and sad when I see a pile of feathers. Do I get angry at the cat? Yes. Yet I can't really blame them. They are hungry. I am mostly angry at the people who haven't taken care of them and that is where the blame lies. It isn't an easy life to be a stray cat Rip and believe it or not, they have feelings. They want to be loved too. They don't want to be out in the rain, snow, cold. Being hungry most of the time. Having people shoot them, poison them, getting caught in leg traps so they die an agonizing death. All they really want is a nice warm house, food and someone to love and be loved.
But even you must admit that feral pets are highly destructive to the natural order of things, its a problem you and I have discussed on another forum and we both have agreed that sometimes pet lovers are part of the problem, they refuse to see the forest through the trees and worry about their type of pet solely to the exclusion of all the other animals in nature. Besides, a nice Irish Setter or Persian coat would look good on me!!!

I love birds too and I am really not a big cat fan. I have a problem with any animal that waves its bunghole in your face.....cats seem to do this more than any other animal I know of. Ripple - Why do cats do that?
