Oh, Kelly, do you mean the insurance wasn't being paid from the escrow fund? That sucks but my wife doesn't trust them to do it right, we habe always paid our taxes and insurance separate but I know my parents did all of ther mortgages the other way and never had a problem -- this is just left over from all the knuckleheads who were writing up mortagages in the 2000s!!!

I am so sorry, big hugs and good vibes being sent!:thumb:

yup ,bank said that when they closed their mortgage department in '09 that they also closed our escrow. It was decided that we did not owe enough anymore to require escrow...we were never notified of any of this . So your WIFE has a GOOD POINT !!

In the winter of '09 ,we did get a bill for taxes . So dh started paying the taxes & it never dawned on him to check on insurance & he did not notice payment amount changing cuz it was on auto withdrawal... also sometime in '09 the insurance company changed hands. And the Insurance was just never started w/new company .

& yeah.... I know !!!! I would kick his .... , but he is a foot taller than me !!!
At least I'm not expected to run a chainsaw ...he is the $ maker & chainsaw controller so his "inefficiency" is mostly just kicking his own .... & the poor old house !

I know from experience that nothing makes a hubby feel lower than disappointing his beloved when its something stupid that we knew we should have noticed and/or reacted to but, well, it didn't occur to us!!! Humiliation compounded by the guilt of depriving the family is truly the worst we can feel.............:(

Well, back to whinery..........lost the Provari contest (like two hundred other members probably!!!) so the record is still intact!!! Admittedly, I hate losing to members I have never heard of; when SK, Adrena, natalia, isbn :)cry:), and my other contest cathouse residents (since we will ..... ourself for any stick or juice given away!!!:lol::lol:) win I am truly happy for them but when its someone who joined a couple months ago, I know that they joined just to defeat me!!!!! Nah, just kidding, when its the random number generator in action I know the name RippleInStillWater seems to be long for it to pick........:toast::party:

Yeah, lost the SmokelessImage but I fully expected to do that; poems, jokes, and funny entries never worked in the past to win but they do seem to make my friends laugh -- those contests are fine just to participate in since you get some postive karma dealt in your direction and I thank everyone for that, I do feel the love fwiw and tbh, I need it............:)

:p Right there with you Ripple. A Provari contest win and no less in my place of birth. Should have been mine I tell you karma misses it's mark. It was looking for the B day girl that "grew up" in Sebring :( *sob*
I would have love to have lost to you or sk any friends here. But that hurt. Coming for Sebring a lil one circle street town, I can say I hope she knows how to use such a fancy device. Moving to DC was the best thing learning some of them there smart thing fer me. (sorry had to do it) Well I vaped a Provari at a meet so I know how to work it the vape is to drool for. Knees went all weak on that vape.

But you're right I love the fun contest we do, just for the love of them and time spent with you all laughing. I don't expect to win not even the like "popularly" contest. Contest are mostly for the "read" of it for me. Entertainment at low cost and maybe just maybe a prize to boot. So far I have won 4mls of some truly awesome juice, and a lot of fun time.
