I totally agree, because I too spent hours on that darn photo . The photos are so messed up that I think we could all get it just on the clues, because obviously we were not getting it before the clues at all!!! I too am going to wait until someone gets the right answer , or until I can easily get it from the clues, and then post. And the wasted posts are totally ridiculous . Chat is not allowed, posting early and then deleting is awful, and anything else people do to waste posts is just criminal . Post 1001 may have had a chance of winning if there had still been 50 or 60 posts left at that time. The only exception is you, Ripple, because I am sure that Vladmir Putin is definitely going to come up one of these times, and besides, it makes me laugh . I think these contests should be able to be won just on the messed photo, no clues. The photo needs to have one really good part left to compare to actual photos. Then smart people like me, Ripple, Uncle, Panky, and all others could guess easily . Well enough. I lost another one, boo hoo! , but I am sure there will be more. It was agonizing .

I am starting to lose what little optimism I have left that is may be an eventuality, I was hoping for an early 2012 to get that monkey off my back but alas, it seems not to be.........sigh........I'm done with waking up to post and checking to make sure its 2 hours, the darned thing is too draining emotionally every month for all I put into it -- I never want to see any more american actress profiles again and I'd never thought I'd say that!!!

In this case the darn clue screwed me up. My fault for wondering if imeo, being from Greece was thinking that Hawaii is part of the U.S.. I know that sounds like I think he must be stupid and I definitely don't think he is stupid but there are probably parts of Greece that I don't actually know are. First time I ever wished I had posted my pick before seeing the clue. Again, my fault, not imeo's but I am kicking myself royally. Trying to think like he thinks and I thunk myself right out of it.

I have figured out how to not frustrate myself so much!!!! I won't worry about it until the last 200 posts and jump on the biggest bandwagons, less thought, less stress, and I can post silly guesses for a long time and have fun, like I do with other contests which have been more fun and far far more rewarding!!!!
