Wow, this is why I call this place The Church on all the other forums, man, the puritans had nothing on the admin here!!! So how do we know what's unacceptable? Is that like Justice White saying "I know porn when I see it"? Its laughable, screw all the fun and games and an inclusive community. One thing I'd like to know is when ECF, if it is indeed trying to project an image, when will it start lobbying congressmen and states -- you're either a leader or an opportunist in disguise, choose....Love you, roly, but I've heard you talking many times, I know you're not a prude...

I'm by no means a prude but I can see their point. A lot of people come here looking for advice and help quitting smoking. Porn pics detract from the purpose of the site and will put quite a few people off if the first thing they see is that type stuff. Keep in mind a lot of older people are looking to quit smoking and that stuff can be offensive to some.
And seriously if you can't find your smut elsewhere on the Internet your just not doing something right.
Face it if you went to home depot site looking for help fixing your garage door and had to wade through a ton of porn you'd go to another site - eventually

However keep in mind that's not what brought us all here and many of us (especially the female members) wouldn't have stayed if they had to click through porn to find the info they were looking for originally. The FDA monitors these sites and when the time comes to bring credibility into the vapors issue we're going to come across as a bunch of pervs that can't be taken seriously.

The problem always tends to be people don't know or don't care where to draw the line. Its like kindergarten - little Timmy posted a truck now I want to post a bigger truck. I just HAVE to out do Timmy. But Timmy won't be outdone so he has to post ....etc etc
There's a far cry from a sexy provocative picture to outright porn - and regardless of what you say or think on the matter you ALL know this. Personally I don't care one way or the other - if I don't like something whether its porn or zombie pictures or whatever - I ignore it. I have this cool little X in the top right corner that makes stuff I don't want to read go away. The point I was making is that this is a privately owned E-cigarette forum and I am not defending anyone just saying I see their point.
This is why I generally stay out of these discussions - as well as politics and religion. Some people have their minds made up and refuse to see the other side.

I agree with that, but that just means that I wont enter graphics contests, wont post pics unless they are vaping related. I will post a link post next week so people can see my mod travelling ireland, but unless they have the mod in them, it will just be a link. I understand their point, but weakly worded things tend to cause trouble. This is an 18+ forum, which means that people should act like adults and expect adult content. I think both of those things are points that miss the mark quite often.
