No, it is one of the stranger things about the thread, Paialia -- all that come here to complain about not winning or getting jobbed usually end up winning a contest in the ner future -- except for me and pwyll for some reason!!!

I think your problem, Ripple, is that you don't complain enough. You should take a lesson from all these other whiney bas..rds and maybe you'd finally win a mod.

My problem, on the other hand, is that shortly after becoming disheartened and giving up I suddenly also lost all the "free time" I had to even follow where the contests were. I haven't even seen a contest thread in over a month, hence the lack of whine in my own personal .......y...

I don't see the problem there--my daughter is not a guy and she loves to play marbles. She can even explain the rules very simply:

The big one is the teacher and the little ones are the rest of the class. And the pencil box is the school bus for when they go on field trips...
