I have no delusions about where I'll be in her heart somewhere between the ages of 10 and 14 though I'm just hoping to be able to maintain her wisdom--she's already told me more than once "I love you daddy, even when you make me really mad."

I just hope my son still respects me after he becomes an adult, I can be such a goof, I always have the best intentions but.......

I am good. Thankful for this sunny day above 0 degrees before the ice storm hits tomorrow. Cleaning the spare room with all the books, craft stuff and junk. I am thinking of trying to make something steampunk. I have lots of leather, brass, and copper bits and pieces of stuff that I think would work good and even though I am not into it I think the accouterments are fascinating.
What are you up to today?

I would suggest a chuck would make a lovely steampunk base, they already are sort of to begin with!!!
