A friend has the Seven-22; I, in my wisdom, have the advanced Seven-30. We swapped for a day to see the difference. Below is my summary which, as you will see, contains little objective data but is loaded with my personal preferences.

1. Because I rarely use more than eight or on occasion maybe nine Watts, I have no idea why I made this choice. I first thought about getting a portable generator to drag around so that I could really get some watts that I would never use.
2. The Seven-22 can use Ego threaded atomizers without any change, the hole in the cap is large enough for the use of an Ego. The Seven-30 requires that you remove the cap to use an Ego, the hole is too small to allow Ego use. I have and kind of like some of the Ego atomizers so this makes a difference to me.
3. The Seven-20 is a solid tube, no cut out spots. The Seven-30 has "cut-outs" in the sides of the tube so that my orange 26650 battery is visible in these slots, not my idea of a good look. I think my SeVen-30 is ugly but like the 22.
4. In my usage, which is eight to nine Watts using Taifun and Squape with a ProTank 3 thrown in periodically for who knows what reason, both work very well. I like the performance of each. I actually can't tell the performance difference. It seems all cosmetic because of my low Watt preference. The DC-DC in both seems to be an improvement over a sigelei Z-Max V2, my previous APV.
5. If I was to make this decision again, I would go with the SeVen-20. If I completely drift into senility, I may get one because as that great American philosopher, Leslie Nielson, once said, "sometimes I just like to feel pretty".

Thanks for sharing. Was there a noticeable difference in the weight with the cutouts on the 730? Enjoy the day!:2cool:
Yes, there is some difference, with the 22 being heavier but I didn't think of it when writing because it did not seem a significant degree. Hey, the 22 is for you, you could consider it a "thug" of an APV with that stainless and a 26650 battery.
