Okay so yesterday marked 4 weeks I have been vaping, I have tried a few tanks and today I got another order I got my Smoketech ARO, I am sad that I didn't get to use it cause it has a leak in it, between the Glass and the outer shell at the top. Don't want to post who got from they are taking care of me by sending me another one with a mailer paid to send them back the bad one, they replied by email within about 3 hours so that is fine with me. I guess anyone can get anything broke already. Not sure how often this happens?
Okay so I started out with a CE5, rebuildable, 1.6ml tank and I have two of them, there okay, simple to use, pretty easy to Clean and take apart but the wicks seem to fall apart after a bit of use. I have some replacement coils on the way hope it be simple enough to just rebuild
taste was okay so i thought.
We got my Wife a simple kit but it came with a CE4, Non rebuildable 1.6ml tank and well, I do not like the fact they do not come apart at all, I have yet try to clean on, ( she doesn't vape hardly any so not empty one yet to need cleaning) taste is the same as the CE5
I got her a Vapemate Xl witch we figured out is the same as the Kanger T2, and WOW this thing is huge 2.4ml tank and it vapes really nice, I get nice clouds of vape out of it. I really like it. I have not had to clean it yet, Again she doesn't vape much, But I think as far as cleaning out the tank it be easy enough. I think I kinda like that just the top comes off. Wick/coil just unscrews and they told me you just replace the whole thing, I guess your not able to replace just the coil/wick on this one, but I think the whole thing is cheap enough not to worry about it.
Next, I got me a Protank mini and WOW, this is really nice and Great clouds of vape from it, it is bottom coil and While i am still getting use to turning upside down to fill I really do like it, But I am not used to the Chrome/steel mouth piece, I think I like the plastic ones better. this is not changeable, so i might find something to put over the tip, however most likely it end up being the Wife's when I get me another Pyrex Glass tank. The coil/head is simple enough to change and cleaning seems so easy.
I would like to know for sure if the Pro tank and pro tank mini uses the same Heads or not.
Got my Aro broken but it looks like it uses the same head/coil/wick as the pro tank mini I even try my extra piece on each one and they both fit. This is nice to know, i really hope the ARO I get as a replacement for this one works out well. I just wanted a Pyrex tank for my Vamo V3 when i get it, I really didn't want to pay $15+ for another pro tank, However they do seem nice.
Here is a couple pictures of all of them side by side.
Left to right
ARO, Kanger pro tank Mini,Kanger T2, CE5, CE4
The ARO is huge compared to all others, Only thing about the Mini Pro tank is it has no markings on it but neither do the other tanks, that are true Tanks.
I have a Evod on the way from Fast tech, I will do another picture when it gets here, maybe next week.
Maybe this will help someone else if nothing else for size comparisons
