Compatibility questions

I bought what was branded as a "Sun Super T 1300". I assume this is compatible with ego-T? I see that it uses a type "B" atomizer, and I am told I can also use an ego mega dual coil cartomizer, though I am still not sure what I actually have. Is there any standardization or are there a bunch of different manufacturers with varying accessories?

I will say, however, that I am quickly becoming quite a hobbyist about it all... so many options, so many different makers and flavors of juices, etc.. it is really quite fun!

Compatibility is all about the threads. Ego's have 510 threads. I have never heard of a "Sun Super T 1300", but I looked it up. The description says it's "ego style", so it probably is 510. I would check with your supplier and ask if it has 510 threads, and ask if you can use ego parts on it.

Of course, that's wonderful confusing world at times.

I googled the sun super t 1300, and it LOOKS like an ego-t clone. I can't say for certain though. If it is, then any atties, tanks, cartos, carts, cones, etc. out there for a 510, ego, or ego-t SHOULD work with you batts. This doesn't hold true for chargers, but that's another story.

From what I've seen, there's some informal standardization AND a bunch of different manufacturers with varying accessories.

It's good that you're approaching this as a hobby. I think most here feel the same way. I've only been at this for a bit over a month, and have already ordered and tried so many different things...

Thanks for the info. I went down to the local flea market and found a vendor that had some different types to try, but they were a small vendor and didnt have any cartridges that fit. The main thing is that I do find that it generates a nice amount of vapor and the battery life is exceptional. I just ordered some ego mega dual coil cartomizers, though I havent much of a clue what that actually means. LOL

I know the feeling!

I haven't tried the emdcc's on my ego yet, but I've tried smoktech dual coil LR (1.5Ω) cartos. They work, but are not my favorite. I prefer smoktech xl 1.7Ω single coils, or even boge LR (2.0Ω) cartos. Both give more flavor, th, vapor, and warmth for me, without singeing. That's just my personal preference though. Many swear by the emdcc's, and I do have a few on order to try with the vv mod I have coming in the mail (hopefully today!)
