Welcome to ECF , but not many tanks are going to work very well with that particular setup . They are small , low mah batteries and won't really support tanks very well . You can get some CE3's or 4's and give them a go . Unless someone here knows of something else , I'm afraid your out of luck . And before long , you will be replacing those , with something bigger , and better anyway . So just use em , till you get ready to upgrade .

The X2 1000 mah version.

The slimmer 3.5 ml Smokteck DCT polypropylene tank sold by My Vapor Store should be able to fit a blank Smokeless Image XL size (45mm) cartomizer. This is just the tube and end caps, which is what you are really looking for. Of course, you will need a drip tip for a mouth piece and a carto punch tool.

The tank will likely look slightly top heavy on the X2. Also, use only the stainless steel version carto.

I would like to have the option to switch to a tank instead of the standard Smokeless Image cartomizers. What are some good compatible tanks?

They have bottom coil T3s coming which are popular. Also, a simple thing to do is get an 808-510 adapter. They cost about $2 and then you can use both 808 and 510 tanks. Here's a pic of my X2 with a vivi nova. I used an 808-510 tank adapter. This is the big 3.5 ml vivi and I just put it on to show how an adapter works. I'd use a mini vivi nova with an X2 so it looks more streamlined. And I'd use a 2.8 ohm vivi head, or 2.4 ohm.

The CE3 holds 1.5ml. They give a great taste but after I cleaned them I couldn't get them to work as good, and some leaked. That was my experience. I also got tired of fiddling around with syringes.
I think the T3s will be better, which they are going to stock.
So they didn't leak before cleaning?

I ask because I'll actually be upgrading to the 1300 X2 soonish, and with a pack of 5 for $10 I'd be happy to make them disposable parts. And I don't think I'll mind the syringe.

Aesthetics matter as much to me as form and function.

Thanks in advance.

I had a couple leak before cleaning. They really just aren't my thing. I like the Vision vivi novas a lot, partly because I can use colored metal tanks with them - form and aesthetics for me. And I will try the T3s.
